i wanna get into comics and id like to start with x-23 but im not really sure where to start or were to get the comics can someone help?

If you want to start with X-23, start with reading the compilation "X-23: Innocence Lost". That's her origin story. You could probably find it online at Amazon or Barnes&Noble

@XxTaylorRowlettxX I'm 23 and I just started reading like a year ago. Now I'm totally into Marvel. For some reason I cant really get into DC but Marvel has enough releases each week that it doesn't matter. I don't know if you have ever used torrents but that's how I started. Scanners post pretty much ever comic released each week on Demonoid. That was you can see what your into and once you know what you like you can start buying them.

NYX and innocence lost are awesome, target X is not, its slow and it pretends to seek more in Laura's past. Its good the relationship they establish with the Kinney family, but the character Kimura its stupid, pointless, forced into the story (she wasnt even mentioned in innocence lost) and come on, if you have someone who cant be affected by adamantium (strongest metal in marvel universe, it can even hurt hulk) why didnt turned her into weapon X, and not into some stupid babysitter for Laura.

@Hematemesis I dont think she could hurt the Hulk.. SheHulk can,t hurt yeah, but i'm pretty suere he would not feel a thing. She might be hard as hell she dont have enough strenght behind her punch to hurt him. And Hulk would slap her and she would be trown away

@Talvrae we are talking about adamantium solely not about X23 vs hulk, adamantium can hurt hulk, thats a fact, and even with his strength he had a hard time tryng to destroy an adamantium wall.

If you have someone with a skin stronger than the one hulk has, you wouldnt use her as a babysitter, the things get more absurd when they say they made Kimura to control X23, how the hell did they get her??? they spent years in a clone, how the hell did they got to create such an specific mutation?

The Facility 'designed' Kimura's powers. She didn't receive them the same way Luke Cage did his. Also, Luke Cage can be injured by adamantium (although he seems to be impervious to just about everything else), Kimura appears to be impervious to.. everything. So yeah I would agree that it is absurd they juts used her as a glorified babysitter... Kimura's whole character is such an obvious plot device.

@Talvrae Luke Cage's skin is stronger than titanium, but stronger than adamantium??? not, besides they couldnt reproduce the effect after experimenting on him. Good point though, interesting reference, arent you one of the writers of the book trying to defend your work??? ahahaha

Personally, i loved target X and the kimura character... shes sadic, crazy woman... obssesed in destroying Laura's life. Really loved her reappearance in X force, shes like a nightmare to X.

what i really dont like is how the X23 main comics is walking right now... demons? Cmon! Putz Kimura back again at some point with Laura killing her for good.

x-23 is like a rip off of Batgirl 3 c. Kane. but the concept of the charcters x-23 and batgirl came from Kill bill 2 the cartoon animation part.

Emma inevitably defeated her by erasing all of her happy memories and sending her to kill her superiors.

She only erased one happy memory, that of her grandma, and she didn't kill her superiors. They reappeared with Kimura in X-Force re-capturing X-23 again.

I was under the impression that Kimura's memory of her grandmother was erased after the events of her recapture in x-force.

Just trying to understand the timeline better. Do you know anywhere you can check the order of the timeline?

Not sure where you can check the timeline, but Kimura's happy memory was erased after Emma caught her getting ready to snipe X-23 during New X-Men. This was after The Facility captured Cecily and grafted some of her skin onto Predator X, and X-23, Hellion, and later on the X-Men rescued her.

However, didn't Emma say that Kimura's -only happy memories- were that of her grandma? Therefore then all of her happy memories were gone.

The point was that she -sent- Kimura to kill her superiors. We found out later that she didn't, though she did injure the one doctor guy, whose name escapes me right now.

She escaped from The Facility before they had the opportunity to do that procedure. They bonded her claws with adamantium as soon as they judged that they had grown enough, but as for the rest of the skeleton they had to wait for her to finish growing.
