Man is conditioned. His brain gets socially programmed from a young age, and there is no scientific evidence nor a cure for this condition. This video is very sparkly and eyebrow raising, but just try to go past your conditioning. You will fail. And sure, the few occasional freaks will come along and say that they've fully changed, but we're talking about the need for a fundamental change in the majority. This needs to be a change that isn't like a diet. It must be a cure that helps everyone.

The fundamental problems are the same--for example, the lack of work incentives and the absence of prices(value), etc. We're working with limited resources either way, and not everyone has identical needs and wants, so it's impossible to say what's fair to give to who and how much.
