@hazzzamatazzz Just go for it, there's no harm in trying. When you find a club, just ask the coach his opinion and he should be able to help.

Essentially every football play is holding. O line man are taught to hook hands inside shoulder pads underneath armpits. That is considered legal but if you do not move along side him and you still have your hands inside his pads its considered holding.

@iPhasle that means that it is 2nd down and 6 yards to get the 1st down or the new set of downs. so, you have to get the ball 10 yards down the field in 4 downs,or plays. so if it was 1st down, you would need 10 yards to get another 1st down. so it would be 1st down and 10 yards to go, or, 1st and 10

That means that it is 2nd down(remember he said he got 4 downs to get to the orange line). The 6 means that he has to get 6 yards to get the first down which is the orange line. Since it is 2nd and 6 that means he got 4 yards on 1st down. Just think of it like 2nd down and 6 yards to go. That might help.

Another question.

Don't you get more points for each yard you run to get a touchdown?So running from one side of the field to the other is worth a lot more then just getting a touchdown from 10 yards out?

@rjh00 doesn't matter, if you go 99 yards down the field(field is 100 yards) you get 6 points. if they fumble at the 1 yard line and you go 1 yard for the touchdown, you get 6 points.

I was clueless about NFL until a few months ago, when my brother got a NFL game for our NGC, after lots of clueless playing I learned a bunch of the rules, I knew everything you taught us except the Holding and Pass Interference.

Kinda confused about the holding penalty, It seems as if the other the "big guys up in the front" seem to be holding each-other are you only allowed to hold some of the guys up front or are they not really holding each-other.

Who said games can't teach you anything.
