oooooohhh my thats a bad nono. Cables are only good for low speed acft that are not susceptible to flutter. since this plane will be flying at jet speeds you cannot run cables directly to any of the flight control surfaces because once flutter has started, it actually gets worse with direct cable connections. You have to have short control rods directly off the ALL flight controls surfaces then back to a bell crank. cables from that point on are ok. and put a span wise truss in that wing.

So, you say that ADDING a linkage, that has potential slop and play (all linkages HAVE to have some slop or they have big friction), instead of a full tensioned pull/ pull cable system, will REDUCE the potential for flutter?? Have you actually THOUGHT about what you are advocating here?
