  • Nice truck! U carried it down nice too

  • NICE ! good job keeping your foot in it , i thought it would come down hard but it was smooth as silk

  • @nickmedadd 120 inches

  • Props to keeping your foot in it. That is a great ET for that MPH.. what was your 60'?

  • @MrClarityWorks The 60' time was about 1.46, about a tenth off from normal because it tripped the clock with the rear tires...

  • he didnt even win the drag so whats so special about it

  • @fuknkaboom it was a time trial they were just racing the clock

  • 150 ft the most -_-

  • all that and still got his ass handed to him. hmm

  • dont you race at the valley? i do...

  • @montecarloss85HO Yes, I run S/P at the 'Valley.

  • @pvalen706 oh. i used to run Jrs. now im running all stars this year.

  • That was no 300 feet

  • Comment removed

  • @strength860 are you retarded? the front end stayed up for about 3.5 seconds. for a wheelie to be 30 feet long and last 3.5 seconds his average speed would be about 8'7'' per second. do you really think a launch at that speed would even lift the front end in the first place?

  • Comment removed

  • @strength860 hey dumb shit, if you want to post an ignorant comment on youtube then everyone has the right to tell you how stupid you are. And if you don't care about a wheelie then why comment in the first place? probably because you actually thought is was a 30 foot wheelie and wanted to share your opinion. thats fine. But I used logic to tell how vastly unaccurate your estimation of 30 feet was, So don't get mad

  • @strength860 You're a gay little keyboard warrior aren't you. go on, admit it. keep your comments to yourself next time!

  • @DumpValvesAndDnB who asked you?? this was all said weeks ago,,eat a dick white boy !!!!!

  • Which chevy small block? 350? 383? 400?

  • @JTJG94 406, Dart block, AFR cylinder heads.

  • whats under the hood?

  • he lost but with STYLE

  • man that thing is quick!

  • 9.9 quarter mile time and he lost by alot ...what is he racing a jet engine with wheels attached?

  • so your telling me, you can go out in the street and do this?? im gona steal that truck!!!

  • the red car reached a 10.25 time. pause it at the end and look at the board.

  • Who gives a shit about the wheelie... What the fuck was that other car who was running 7's?

  • That thing would run upper 8's if it had a wheelie bar.

  • what gears you using forget the haters i bet at lest you had fun and maybe needed to change your shorts as well

  • maybe squeezed a hundred feet out of that wheelie

  • That was such a good run, nice straight and crazy. But I was expecting a little better than 9s. Still amazing though.

  • isy koi weeling kehta ha

  • america fuck yeah

  • @thetruesurvive fuck yeah!!

  • long wheelies on drag races = LOSE

so why should we care about a loser ?

  • chevy motors-accept no substitute.....

  • POST MORE VIDEOS PLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

  • Ok...

    1. Nice truck. Great wheelie.

    2. The metric system makes sense, even to heterosexual Americans. The only reason anyone would oppose the metric system is xenophobia. "oh it's different get it away!"

Grow the fuck up, you're making the rest of us look bad.

  • @TheMarikBathory Problem is, in America they dont drill in the metric system like they do imperial cuz its all imperial here. I mean they teach metric, but hardly. I was raised on imperial. Granted Iv learned over the years to use Celsius instead of Fahrenheit but thats as far as Ill probably go. And once you learn celsius, you start to see why it makes alot more sense...

  • @320bit Celsius does make sense in terms of it's less arbitrary 0 and 100 degree markers, although (and this is where I contradict myself) Ferenhieght leaves us with a broader range in the temperatures where we actually live.

I am aware that industrial concerns were the primary cause of resistance to metrication, but sooner or later we're just going to have to spend the money and re-tool everything.

  • @TheMarikBathory I do believe the reason that we dont use celsius in america is due to the fact of decimals. Fahrenhieght, as you said gives a broader range but we use it cuz we can get accurate temperatures without using decimals. But its still stupid.

  • @320bit That's exactly the point I was trying to make, Only you stated it in a manner that people can actually understand... I accept your rebuke.

  • driver was probably like CANT SEE SHIT

  • 75 FEET AT THE MOST

  • That is close to 300 feet. If you don't know anything about drag racing, don't waste peoples time. It's not 300feet, but very close. probably 250 or so. You see that pretty orange cone right after he hits the ground, that's 330.

  • the distance that he is claiming he did is suppose to be a football field

  • @RickyYZ125 A quarter mile is 1320 feet!!!!!

  • @Jeep88Daddy wrong its 1319.999999995 feet

  • datsun pickup, chevy engine...is that a ford grill???...looks like a late 90s ranger grill.

  • @NathansBackwoods It was actually off of a wrecked Explorer that was in the parking lot of the body shop where it got painted. The headlight bezels were cut off. The original was long gone and we didn't know what we were going to do...

  • @pvalen706, haha, what ever works

  • @pvalen706 thats pretty neat

  • Hey conmana10 I'm from Alabama you dick

  • definitely somewhere between 200 and 300 ft

  • how in the fuck did you get that truck to hook

  • fuck what was that he was racing that thing just tore up the strip

  • Oh dip, I dropped my wife/sister, TURN AROUND!

  • whats the point of a wheel stand he lost big time anyway..

  • i live 30 min from maple grove :D

  • this is insane!

  • NICE!

  • fake

  • one of the cleanest wheel stands i've ever seen

  • Of all the arguments going on here.....has anybody else noticed this is NOT a 1972 Datsun pickup. LMAO. It's an 80-something....not even sure if it's a Nissan. Looks more like an Ford Ranger actually. OMG all the car detectives are out now. Btw, it is at LEAST a 300 foot wheelie....I, for one, have been to the drag strip.....so there. :p

  • @GahDub I think the guy who owns the truck might know what it is

  • @DVcustomZ ....yes that's true DV. Then why did he post "72 Datsun"? That's definitely NOT a 72 Datsun front end. That is an 80s or early 90s.

  • @GahDub Probably because swapping parts is common. Perhaps the original front end was damaged, or he liked the later year front end. Or he got a screaming deal at a junkyard. My 1979 Mustang has a 1986 front end on it. I call it a 1979 Mustang. What would you call it????

  • They must be from Alabama to consider that 300ft

  • 9.9 not a bad time bro

  • muito bom

  • im not much of a chevy fan but this wheelie was nice

  • @klridener it wasnt a chevy if you read it it said DATSUN not Chevrolet

  • cure for erectile disfunction is a roaring chevy engine

  • Looks like she set down just before the 330 cone...nicely done.

  • thats a perfect wheel stand in my book. it comes up smooth, keeps the front wheels in the air for long time, plenty of distance, smooth landing, and goes straight down the track

  • Iv seen some one do this before except it was slower, at homedepot and involved alot of bricks lol

  • why are you telling him that he is stupid, maybe he doesnt know what ft are....maybe he is just a little retarded.....:s

  • clearly not 300 ft

  • what the fuck were you racing? looked like a big ass june bug

  • And it also got beat by 300 feet.

  • too bad you didnt win D:

  • its called 'losing in style'

  • this is such a nice wheelie. so smooth

  • wheelies may hurt your e/t but they still look sick haha

  • awesome, and a good time

  • there is shit all over the drivers seat i can tell you that..

  • Nice wheelie. Too bad you lost anyways. I don't mean that in an ill spirited way either.

  • beautiful!!! Nice control on the "relanding". Did it squish the oil pan or headers?

  • 300ft is 100m, i would say that is pretty close to 300ft

  • fuck!

  • You typed an extra zero on the title brah.!lol

  • Freaking Sweet !

  • my god adopt the f*** metric system ffs

  • @0b3rz0nK customary

  • @0b3rz0nK - like bowling, drag racing is a totally Imperial system sport.

  • @0b3rz0nK Fuck you!

  • t@0b3rz0nK no fuck you god damn foreigner. This is America we dont use the god damn metric system. This is America if you dont like it you can get out

  • @dragonforce2134 I'm an American, and fuck you.

  • @pancakewafflebacon you wish you was a American you dumb fuck. even if you are you are a shitty one the fucking metric system?? thats for god damn foreign people and god damn fags so your either foreign or gay you chose

  • @dragonforce2134 @dragonforce2134 lol. I am american and I don't understand our system. 3 teaspoons in a tablespoon, 16 tbsp in a cup, 2 cups in a pint (?) aw I give up it's way too complicated. metric system is way easier and more people use it.

  • @pancakewafflebacon no you wish you where a American. If you where you wouldnt want the damn metric system where America better than every where else

  • @dragonforce2134 maybe I'll post a video response showing my id and birth certificate but naah I'm done

  • @pancakewafflebacon ya i though so bitch now go cry in your gay foreign corner

  • @dragonforce2134 merry christmas fellow american lol

  • @dragonforce2134 Make note that American scientist use the metric system, not imperial. The metric system is easier and makes more sense, however when your raised on imperial your whole life its hard to convert. And that is why America is still the only imperial using country. Too lazy to teach and use metric.

  • @320bit no bitch metric may be easier and makes more sense but where fucking America we do everything the best and we make shit that is hard look very fuckin easy cause where America

  • @dragonforce2134 Now that's the american spirit!

  • @ItAintChevyItAintShi hell ya finally someone who isnt a hater on youtube!!!! you are my fucking hero besides George W. Bush

  • @0b3rz0nK fuck you America love i tor leave

  • i live 15 min from this track i go every year atleast 4-5 times i love this track

  • Wow, I haven't seen this truck in awhile. Nice surprise while watching some videos. This is Nick Lake by the way, Henry Huard's grandson.

  • Hey man hows it going? I remember when you were just a baby... Your Grandfather's truck has treated me well!

  • @pvalen706 It's been really good, I'm actually finally driving now. Do you still race at Lebanon Valley? How's your dad? Does he still have the Monte?

  • @pvalen706 awesome run dude, but just cause i'm curious what was that other car and his time? he was HAULING!!

  • that's not 300 ft. that's not even close.

  • @shikakabubu The first black box in the center (after the tree) is the 60' mark. The orange box that the truck passes next, is the 330' mark. So...he's definitely carrying the wheels pretty close to 300'.

  • @shikakabubu yeah it is. u see that orange block in the middle of the track at 0:10? that block is 330ft from the starting line, he landed it about 20 or 30 feet before it

  • @shikakabubu and you think the stripes on the freeway are only 3 feet long too, dont ya?

  • @shikakabubu obviously you have no sense of length

A quarter mile is 1,320', he was up for at least three seconds of a 10 second run, do the math retard

  • @MCNano117 You are so angry little one!

  • @shikakabubu I guess... I don't see how you can sense my state of mind but nice try retard!

  • @shikakabubu thats definlty close to 300 ft. im sure it could be figured out mathematicaly using constant acceleration from 0 to 133 mph over a quarter mile

  • @shikakabubu More like 200ft

  • @shikakabubu Look again at 0:08 When the front end bounces and lands the second time, there's an orange marker in the middle of the track. That's the 330 foot marker, so 300 is pretty damn close enough.

  • @shikakabubu a good 60'er is still impressive.

  • That can my ford escort also? :D

    - NOT!!

  • one of the coolest "accidents" u can have

  • that is very true man

  • DAM thats a really smoth wheelie

  • what car were u racing? that thing dominated u!

  • I think a wheelie bar might help, that or a front wing...actually maybe both. It looks cool though, that's for sure :).

  • lol wheelie or not...STILL LOST BAAAADDD LOL

  • its still badasss and he raced a fuckn dragster come on.+ unless your car or truck and pull a 300ft wheel stand id shut up b.c u have no room to talk

  • go choke on a dick you fuckin cum dumpster

  • u would u faggot.quit your bitchn your just mad u told so quit your whine'n and grow a set

  • oh i do have a set and i use em to teabag your mom last night, which reminds me, tell that bitch to enjoy my boxers, she loves the way my dick smells like flowers LMAO

  • so funny how people will run there mouth online. say that shit to my face bitch and the last thing u will c is the end of my double barrel.

  • and its so funny how pussies will shoot what they cant beat with there bare hands

  • besides, you started runnin your mouth first dumb beyotch

  • nice but that other car beat the crap out of him

  • very nice!!! 9 secs pass with a start like that

that car has some (ALOT...hahah) of balls

  • I have a question, How do they make this front part jumps up like this ?

  • Having a LOT of torque.

  • Pure horsepower!

  • pure torque lol

  • torque to get it going, horsepower to keep it going

  • Sixes350, people like you who think you know Horsepower are funny. It's like in your silly mind, Horsepower and Torque are different ways of powering a vehicle. Get it straight. Horsepower is calculated from RPM's, and Torque..

    Horsepower = Torque X Engine RPM / 5,252.

Torque is what gets you going, and what KEEPS you going. It is the only force being applied. RPM's are often thought of as a factor of time, which it is. Horsepower is simply an equation of the two, to rate overall power.

  • @kcole939 you took his very simple statement and blew it out of proportion. by rights you can say torque for both or hp for both it doesnt matter cause they are related. but his statement is true. a low torque high reving engine can hold a wheelie it will just be really hard to get the initial lift of the front end. dont read so much into the simple statement.

  • The engine isn't typically what would matter when it comes to a vehicle being able to do a wheelie. That would come down to the transmission, weight distribution, overall weight, gearing, type of tires used, a lot of factors.

What I'm saying is that what he said is completely false, which it is. Horsepower is simply a rating that was invented to give the uneducated person a broad example of what a particular engine can do. That's all, it does nothing.

  • @kcole939 hp and torque are related but they are actually completely different measures of force. torque is what the engine produces and hp is what that torque needs to get converted into. torque = rotational force HP= straight line force. i do agree with what your saying though. just clarifying.

  • I'm sorry, but that is FALSE. Horsepower is not straight line force. What do you not get? Horsepower is calculated from Torque, and Torque is NOT a rotational force.

The calculation of Torque could be as simple as 1 pound of force applied to a 2 foot wrench, that equates to 2 FT.-LBS. at the axis, if you may. Technically, it could be classified as a rotational force, but in the end, it's simple applied force multiplied through leverage.

  • Excuse that typo! I meant simply.

  • But anyway, the definition of Torque is Torsion; a twisting force. That is what it technically is, since Torque can only be measured as a twisting force, even though as I said, it's force applied multiplied by leverage.

Horsepower is simply work done over time, measured in FT.-LBS. of Torque.

1 Horsepower is said to be equal to 33,000 FT.-LBS. per minute. That would be equivalent to me putting 55 LBS. of force on a 10 foot wrench constantly for a minute.

  • ha it still lost big time

  • he got smoked by the other car off the line an to the finish

  • ok, i agree with elucid07 that that was no way 300ft, but m8, no offence u seriously need to get out more

  • just because I took the time to add a bit of substance to my comment, doesn't mean I don't get out ;)

  • @92whitetiger92 You there were you no-show?

  • Notice the cones in the middle of the track, it was damn close to 300ft, being that you see the 330ft mark just after it comes down

  • There is no way that was ~ 91 metres.

As it stands, the wheelie was about 3 seconds, and off the line. In order to travel 90 metres in under 3 seconds, you have to be doing at least ~119 kph (74 mph), and that would off the line. That car would be struggling to be doing 100 kph (62 mph) at redline in 1st with full traction - especially given the tight gear ratios of drag cars. This isn't even counting the fact that it would have to go from 0-120 instantly off the line. Impressive, but not 300ft
