  • BENDING? BARREL

  • Why not put the trues israely heavy barrel on it available witht the parts kit? That way the bipod could have been added without fear of bending the barrel. cool rifle in any event.

  • Cool! I have A Springfield Armory like that one too. I've fallen out of love with it. Want another one?

  • @raimundough I'm pretty full on FALs.

But I bet if you go to the Warriortalk forums there might be some people who want it.

  • @Frankdude72 Thanks! The M1A displaced it. Now I want a new wheel bow.

  • looks like a nice rifle...Was that an AFRICAN 30 round mag you were using?

  • So the vertical stringing issue should be applicable to all FALs, not just those with a match chamber right? Is that the general idea?

  • @duanescot Correct.

  • It looks like you got one of my charging handles on there. Kinda nice to see one of my parts on the web. Appreciate the business and will be making more and better stuff as time goes on. Samarian Mountainman

  • man, I wonder how loud it is in real life.

  • good stuff i like the brake down too.

  • the L1A1 is the british version of the FAL

  • The Imbel Version is better

  • peter kokalis, bwahahahah an asshat in his own mind.

  • frog talk? French... what is french about it.

    SAR48 is Brazillian???

Match grade chamber on an Izzy barrel???

    Match trigger?

    what are you smoking?

  • They speak french in Belgium. The FN FAL is from Belgium, even though it sounds like this is an L1A1 re-build with Israeli parts.

  • Yes, Brazil also produces SAR48 by Imbel

  • Nice vid, mate. I have an Lithgow L1A1 and an Israeli heavy barrel FN. Your mag feed problems may be because you are riding the working parts forward when you cock it; or it's the 30 rd mag itself. Sometimes the spring doesn't have quite the oommph needed to feed, especialy if you have the max amount of rounds loaded.

We were taught in the NZ Army to be agresive in cocking it and to keep the hand moving backwards when the cocking handle reaches its culminating point.

  • Didn't even sniff hitting the watermelon!!! Hahahaha! Freakin' freakin' freakin' kosher ... you're a tool!
