@elDreDas It all depends on what your budget is. I like the intuos4 medium because its relatively cheap but good quality. Though if you have a bigger budget go for an interactive display it makes things easier because you do not have to train your mind to draw on the tablet but look at the screen.
Let me tell you all right now, if you buy this product you will throw a lot more money down the toilet than its retail price. The pen tips (otherwise known as nibs) WEAR DOWN AT LEAST 50x FASTER THAN INTUOS 3!!
I repeat, at LEAST 50x faster, this is not exaggerated. You'll replace your nibs for 20 dollars every couple weeks. Product is worthless in this regard. Not worth it. Get an intuos 3.
Research this before purchasing, do yourself a favor, don't take my word for it, research this.
@GAIUSJULIUSCAESAR lol you moron I don't hate intuos, i LOVE intuos, I HAVE an intuos4, im telling potential customers the bad sides of the product so they know both sides and can make an informed decision, jackass. so gtfo.
I never said the pen would lag either wtf are you high on you dumb shit? It works great, the nibs just wear down fast. You're stupid.
The only problem folks find with these things is the nibs wear out really really quickly and they're £13 for five spares :o. The wacom forums (europe) are up to page 37 with complaints on this and there is even an e'petition under some users names which I have gladly signed due to this bad design & rip off issue.
extra info: if you ever stumble across a time with ur new Wacom Intuos4, where your tablet doesnt recognize your pen, whereby hovering, clicking, pressure doenst respond. one way is to disconnect the usb cable ( with the pen on the tablet) and then reconnect. this will usually work. however if it still doesnt work. go to Wacom Tablet properites ( u should get when installed) and change some of the settings. that worked for me
hey when you draw on the tablet screen with it actually show up on the screen of the tablet or do you have to look at the computer screen to see your picture?
which is the the cintiq line, offering 12 and 24in. if i remember correcting, although the screen is a little glitchy on the outer edges on the smaller model.
Well, not really. If you have absolutely no experience with a tablet then yes it can be a bit difficult. And even with traditional skills you have to train yourself to look at the screen while you draw instead of looking down like you would normally. It took me a little bit to get used to it.
i live in the USA, and I'm about to order this board. It's amazing. Thanks Wacom for bringing to us. Beautiful Creation, that inhances artistic passion.

yeah it was very hard for me the first time with my bamboo, but with practice it becomes second nature, it's different if you have a cintiq though
anifrizzo32 2 years ago
Oh? I haven't seen a cintiq

is the small one worth it? how much does it cost?
c4cereal 2 years ago
i would suggest to at least go for the medium size (if you are trying out a tablet - buy a cheap bamboo to see how you like it).
