A heckler isn't just someone that makes fun of the comedian, but someone from the audience that interupts the show. It could be a huge fan of the comedian and it is still heckling. The comedian has an agenda when they go on stage. They have the material already planned. Interuptions from the audience can ruin that flow.

@thehofstetter I have watched A SHIT TON OF COMEDIANS...from the best of the best (Dave Chappelle) to the worst of the worst ( Carlos Mencia) and everything in between, I have seen cases of 1 or 2 hecklers..but this guy being Heckled EVERRRYY SINNGGLEEE STAND UP.....that's a little iffy. And for the Kobe scenario if a fan came out of the audience every SINGLE game and Kobe dunked on them...EVERY GAME THEN....i would have been suspicious

The only shows you've seen of your famed Dave Chappelle, and Carlos Mencia are probably HBO/Comedy Central specials, and those types of venues kick out hecklers, and edit around them. ALSO, some comedians choose to ignore hecklers, or have them thrown out; while Steve here chooses to engage, and attack them. He does it well.

I think that is too much time spent hating on hecklers. If someone is doing stand-up on a campus, the audience's hobby stuff is going to be with them. He addressed something completely absurd that happened in the moment, was funny, and entertained the audience. Not to do so would have been ridiculous on his part. The first couple videos I saw were humorous, but I can't help but feel this is scripted. I go to comedy clubs all the time and haven't seen nearly as many hecklers as you get. The whole, "hunny this person bailed you the fuck out" bit was done before, seems suspicious to me. Thing is it works, because it makes people laugh..

He addressed something completely absurd that happened in the moment, was funny, and entertained the audience. Not to do so would have been ridiculous on his part. He handled the whole situation really well actually. A lesser comic would have dropped the ball.

The first couple videos I saw were humorous, but I can't help but feel this is scripted. I go to comedy clubs all the time and haven't seen nearly as many hecklers as you get. The whole, "hunny this person bailed you the fuck out" bit was done before, seems suspicious to me. Thing is it works, because it makes people laugh..

- brings the spectacle to the people breaking the 4th wall
- plus its really funny hearing people get heckled back

ive seen a few of this guys vids on youtbe now and there all about him paying out hecklers. i think its set up. either way it works but u couldnt carry on doing that all the time. in the end it'll just get boring.
