Superman 2012 Casting News - Opinions Please!

We all already know that Chris Nolan and Zack Snyder are gonna bring it with the next superman. Their movies are always hardcore so the next superman movie is definitely gonna be hardcore because superman returns really blew though the actor. It's not Brandon Routh's fault the the movie sucked. I think the Henry will do great as long as he does not speak with a british accent...lol

Fans of Superman will gladly adopt ANY reinterpretation of their hero. From the comics to black and white classics, the Christopher Reeve series, Adventures of Lois and Clark, Smallville, Justice League and D.C. animated films and T.V. shows.

I Love every side of Superman, Clark Kent, Lois Lane and Lex Luthor. I just love all of those characters.

I just so Tired of seeing Lex Lurther as the main Villian in all the Superman movies.

How about Brainact or Doomsday or Darkside... some one that can go toe to toe with Superman in both Power and Smarts.

@Genkikaio Well, they keep talking about the possibility of General Zodd being brought back, and now Viggo Mortensen is apparently freed up to take the role if he wants to. That's not confirmed however. Amy Adams has been confirmed to be playing Lois Lane however. I don't think Lex Luthor will be the main villain, but that said, I think he'll be a part of it. And if so, who's going to play him? How do you replace Gene Hackman, who is in my opinion the greatest actor in the world?

Smallville is the best incarnation of Superman since the Donner movies, and better in many many ways... Superman Returns just blew.

I love superman but Smallville is a disgrace in my opinion. Worst incarnation of Superman ever. I've never watched Superman Returns all the way through though. I used to be a very big fan of Superman The Animated Series when I was a boy. I also liked watching JLU and I've just recently gotten into Young Justice. In my opinion it's just hard for many live action incarnations to live up to, at least in my mind, the cartoon versions. I'm probably a little biased though since I grew up with them.

I think it is going to be good :D Man i can't wait to get that feeling on the cinema. The feeling being in the presence of a god(Superman). I want to believe that it is going to be epic. As for the actor he has the look for Kal El plus we've seen so many times how actors change via gym to fit the role :)

The only thing I've seen him in is The Count of Monte Cristo and he was fairly young in that, so it's kind of hard for me to say whether or not they picked the right person. I will pass judgment once the move comes out.
