This is a CLASSIC video, its all about their on stage antics not musicianship or sound quiality. its a bootleg by target video of an entire live show in san fransisco around 79? Target's editors took it upon themselves to add older burlesque video here and there. I HAVE THE ORIGINAL VHS. This is an asian bootleg of that video. In another song Captain fights with and even pisses on someone. Best quote of the night "San francisco you could hardly be england if you tried".

The production here DOES NOT do The Damned justice. I'm actually killing myself laughing cos The Damned were the funniest of the big punk bands. The Captain was a fukkin riot on stage.

Strange ... I dunno what I think of it really! The Damned AND Sweet are both favourite bands of mine (strange combination, I know) so I can't decide if I like what they've done or not. Same with their 'Help'.

I think they are singing Great Big Tits. And if I'm not mistaken the videos origons are from Target Video which means it would have been recorded in San Fransisco.

(hmm. thinking about that, I can't see it happening in China at that time, as judged by how old they looked).
The Sweet were the first band that I went out to try and buy their record.
