i remember i was in headlong all alone for fun and haing a sentinel beam as a starter weapon, i constantly hear the sounds of the ghost exploding but no explosion sound and i kept on hearing sentinel beam shots too! i dont know what happened and i sont have an xbox live account

Its called network lag people, not a ghost, the elite is a person who joined under lag, and as a result, the "ghost".

wow your the bigest fuck in the world n3twork3r "the ghost glitch" is a glitch that lets a player only be half in the game. so "the ghost" was player who hadn't loaded most of his animation. This happens randomly when host is laggy.
