Yellow Magic Orchestra is great. For me, they are even better than Kraftwerk as their stuff is much more musical. It is very easy to get robotic stuff out of old synths and drum machines but much harder to get warm, musical, neo-classical things going. YMO (Sakamoto) actually used one of these on tour in their later years.

@marcel911 A tune by Yellow Magic Orchestra. I'm pretty sure it's "Behind The Mask". There is also some other YMO later in the vid. I love my T8. Sometimes I think of selling it but I turn it on and fall in love again.

Also, it's value has dropped so dramatically in the past few years that there's no point. Maybe they will get in the hands of people who want them now.

I love how it has the filter quality of the Prophet-600, but has MUCH faster envelopes like the Prophet-5 - a wonderful hybrid of the two :)

@TheSwillMan  how does the keyboard on the "T8" match up to the legendary "CS80" i know u can modulate notes,but can u pitch-bend from the keyboard,and does it have "Poly-AfterTouch???.

@myleftnutts i've never played or owned a CS80 (you'd have to be very rich and a little bit crazy to own one these days), but I know it has a plastic, weighted 61-key keyboard while the T8 has a wooden, weighted 76-key keyboard. so they're very different. the T8 does have polyphonic aftertouch (a feature i never needed), and you can indeed set the aftertouch to modulate oscillator pitch.
