i just got this case in black i hated the silver inside so i painted it all black apart from where the motherboard gets fitted to the tray that was painted in red and a EVGA x58 classified 4-way SLI Mobo was installed looks fucking mad

I've watched reviews and reviews and reviews in making my decision, and I've got one in transit for delivery now. My current case (for my first build) is Sunbeam Transformer Black, and with dead front audio ports and horrendous customer service, I'm never buying from them again. The reviews of this seemed good, Newegg ratings were at tip top, features look promising... I hope this case delivers as much as I've seen in the reviews, and the company is just as caring.

Aluminium is very difficult to paint, paint wont stick etc. Normally Aluminium is anodized a particular colour. This adds expenses

Only the silver version is aluminium, the black one is steel, which also makes it a damn sight heavier. Fill a black one to capacity and you'll need two people to shift it.

ThermalTakes only good if you use ThermalTake liquid cooling, not custom e.g. Swiftech, Danger Den, ThermoChill, Alphacool etc.. they wont fit unless you start cutting away half of the metal you pay for.. if you are gonna custom build, stay away from ThermalTake.

I have a my own Watercooling in a Armor, It was one of the few that would fit the ThermoChill 2 Rad :P D5 Pump. ofcource its Not this case showing but its the armor. ive had 0 probs with the watercooling in my case as far as placment. I like it! but for thouse thinking about watercooling, buld your own, dont buy a kit. Danger Den is the best Computer Watercooling products on the market today. But I see were your coming from. they are tough to work with.

I was looking at the standard thermaltake armor for the fact that it has the 11 5.25" bays free in the front, but this beauty caught my eye...only thing is the HDD rack at the bottom wouldnt allow me to put the rad there...

I'm pretty sure you can remove the top bit of the case, although I don't know if you'll be able to find a hood that fita perfectly on the case. Still I'm eager to get this case, love the sheer size of the thing, only UK stores, and Websites don't have it yet.

The LCS has to be top notch in the Armor plus to really convince me to get it.

So far its the Armor Plus or the Antec 1200.

Don't get caught up in fancy designs. This case has the same flaws the Cooler Master Stackers 830 & 832 have, no outer ports for adequate water cooling. This is just another case I will have to mod :(
