  • i wish i could hear more of what grandmaster is saying..very quiet voice..

  • @cruzcontrol184 yeah i wish i could afford a microphone. if someone wants to sponsor one for me i would be very grateful.

  • ALL haters eat shit, because all u do is talk shit.

This Grandmaster knows alot more than u fuks who comment behind your computers and think u know it all.

  • sorry Antonio that was your father, i dont know how he got on my account. I apologize for him. dont want you to sit on me with your fat ass, hey I heard red bull gives you wings, but for you its your ears. lol

  • @lazy702622 Sorry, i don't understand your comment. My father? How is my father connected to this discussion? Also i dont drink Red Bull or take any stimulants or drugs, apart from coffee and sugar. Red Bull does not give you wings, neither does it alter your ears. I am over weight, but i am not exactly fat. Not sure where you are going with this.

  • I hate liars n fake martial arts that pray on da gullible and ignorant. he even admitted that he added hapkido to his bokator and half of the forms and techniques he "made up" on his own. stringin together techniques he randomly learned from 90 year old Masters who could barely walk or even remember the skills they havent practised in 40 years. look up the history of hapkido,TKD hwarangdo they all have the same story as this guy. and all proven fakes. want to learn real khmer MA? go to thailand.

  • @lazy702622 sadly, there is no Khmer MA in Thailand. In addition to the several years I trained in Thailand, i also did research in Surin, hoping to find Bokator. Unfortunately, I only found Muay Boran. And, while they are related, Muay Boran does not include ground fighting.

  • Thousands of techniques, first you'll never be able to practice it all let along master it, and without muscle memory its useless, and in a real fight to much techniques will only confuse you and hold you back. 100s of kicks in bokator?...naw just variations of the same kicks. What if you learn just bokator fighting? well then thats not bokator nomore its just kickboxing. meaning the original full style must be crap if he made a sub style just for fighting lol.

  • @lazy702622 Muay Boran also had hundreds of techniques. in 1925, when they codified modern Muay Thai, most of those techniques were cut from the sport curriculum of Muay Thai. Bokator is the same. There are tens of thousands of movements. But the fighting art only has less than 100 strikes and then the throws and grapples. That is very common in fighting arts. for example, San Da is a component of Wu Su, but has considerably less techniques.

  • OMGG!! hes so goood.... i think i learnt a thing or 2 just by watching this video... i wanna go find this guy

  • only by watching the stand up grappling have i learned how much muay thai lacks... muay thai is a sport, as bokator is a MARTIAL ART

  • Hope Master San Kim Saen will open Bokator school in Australia (Sydney).

  • yeah.. i like

  • wow, i just learned how great it is

  • I like the push kick to the thighs. i wonder if that kick is consider a dirty move in muay thai because it seems like that's what the guy was gonna say. I'm gonna add that into my training.

  • you can absolutely use it in muay thai. i always do, because i live and train in thailand a lot of the time, and then go back to cambodia periodically. remember you can either push a push kick or stomp a push kick. both work well on the thighs. but please remember this is not muay thai. it is khmer bokator.

  • cambodians live in vietnam too, so is there a muay viet style.

  • Excellent question! there are nearly as many cambodians in vietnam as there are in cambodia. vietnam had a kick boxing style long ago but it has more or less died out. there are rumours that some small villages practice it, but just rumours. in kampuchea krom, the khmer part of vietnam, i heard very reliable rumors that there are one or possibly two bokator masters. i havent heard anything about khmer boxing. i will let you know when i go back to vietnam.

  • kim is also a vietnamese name

  • Wow, this is great!

    Bokator looks awesome. =D

  • when u gonna make a video of bokator sparing.

  • ok, this might sound stupid and im not saying its a bad thing at all but master San Kim is very fare skinned for a Khmer

  • listen to his name kim thats a korean name hes probably mixed khmer and korean

  • No kim is not a korean name. it is a chbinese name. but 80% of koreans have one of four CHINESE last names: Kim, Pak, and Li are all chinese names. the grandmaster is not mixed. and there is no korean population in cambodia and never has been. but the overwhelming majority of the people in phnom penh are Sino-Khmer of Chinese Khmers.

  • i like grappling and submission part of bokator.

  • where you trying to arm triangle there? lol looked like you nearly had it on

i really want to learn this tech the pummelling is great

    i love that

    familly is not secret

  • yeah, i was trying for some kind of standing arm triangle but i dont really know how to grapple.

  • it was pretty close bro

  • you cant fight for shit, you look slow awkward and all that bad stuff evven after YEARS of training all over the world....where are all your famous fights? why is it the only time we see you fight is when your sparring old, tiny or smaller TMA guys to which you brag about how much better you are at real fighting lol.I heard rumours that you just like to brag and show off dude to your inferority complex you had as a child due to be a retard and looking like micky mouse. down symdrome man!

  • @lazy702622 Sorry, you lost me at the end, your grammar was so screwed up, I couldn't quite understand it. were you saying I had downs syndrome as a child? Or that I was retarded? Actually, I have several university degrees and have done advanced studies in the field of applied linguistics. You may think I don't fight well, but you can clearly see that i am not retarded.

  • @lazy702622 when you said "dude to" did you mean "due to"? that would make a lot more sense. "Due to your inferiority complex." But you said you heard a rumor. was it a rumor or your own observation? Would you need third party verification to feel strong enough to voice your own opinion?

  • nice vid!
