Err, you're just about totally wrong on Alaska. On current estimates if America used ANWR for all of its oil demand, it would last 2/3 of a single year at worst, a year and a half at most. It's not a solution. You guys should look up the New Great Game. Ben Stein is right that none of the alternative energies are good enough to replace oil - but there is not enough oil to go round either. We're up a creek without a paddle.

Some of the oil field in Alaska are already getting low. The liberals that fought exploration/drilling are going to have bad Karma indeed.
