  • Pamela, you wish you had more than "tea" with him ini't! He is a man of integrity, he does not do that....you know what I'm saying.

  • Response to 'TheKarigamombe' - I do not appreciate your first comment. Kanda is indeed a man of honour and integrity and I respect him and had nothing but respect from him and his band members whilst they were in Melbourne.

  • que exito como se llama

  • Meant to also thank you so much scottyronnie for posting so that the world who doesn't know Kandabongoman and Kwassa/Soukous can watch, listen and learn and most of all ENJOY!!! Pamela

  • I also had tea with Kanda and the band members when they were in Melbourne in the 90's - what a beautiful man!! I also danced Kwassa on stage with him - what a thrill that was and a memory to keep in my heart forever. Every time I listen/watch him performing I am transported to a 'Kwassa' place. Peace and Love to all. Pamela

  • Thats a wonderful memory to share. With all the agrro and rudeness on the tube its nice to see people just being. I met Kanda too and he is a humble man unlike any of the bigshots nowadays who want to have "security" to give the pretence of importance. Nice username too.

  • Ive had tea with Kanda hes a very nice man

  • OMG thank you for this!

  • Very good, and worth listening and or, dancing to the tunes. By the way, what about the artist from Sierra Leon?

  • yea.. sokuos, from congo my friends, regards,

  • Kanda Bongo Man, Soukous number 1...

  • I always argue that Pepe Kalle is number one but I would happily argue Kanda while I would have to be rude with some of the ignorant "fans" who mention Jhonny-come-lately's as legends. Peace :)

  • Reply to 'vdotme' - yes, Pepe Kalle is the GRAND FATHER OF ALL TIME - genius. Much respect to him always.
