Well service should be at least 4stats to fly somewhere further than Russia ...check in service horrible in Los Angeles airport seems like u still in ussr
I see you have done a bit of background however some keypoints on the son and pilot
the pilot didnt actually think his son was flying it, ot was a boeing malfunction, the planes were new and the pilots had not been trained on the new planes system,
He was flying an Airbus A310, so not a Boeing, just a slight correction. The company got hold of those airplanes to improve a safety record, but they weren't used to the Western-style flight systems. Kinda ironic, sadly.
Actually... Aeroflot has a good safety record. It was after the collapse of the Soviet Union and the dividing of Aeroflot into various smaller airlines, that you saw lots of crashes. But it was from the various smaller airlines. Aeroflot has always been a safe airline and hopefully will continue to be safe into the future!
Don't go getting your hopes up. lol. Back during the Soviet Era Aeroflot used to do Military flights as well. I'm just doing the reference to purely civilian flights. Plus the fact back then they were the largest airline in the world, at least double the size of the 2nd largest airline! And their last accident was in 94... and well... it was due to the fact the pilot let his son fly the plane... fly the plane right into the ground that is! lmao
the plane was supposed to be on autopilot allowing a gentle turn, his daughter had a go and he put it back on, his son had a go but forgot to adjust the flight heading (turn left) causing his son to deactivate the autopilot but the plane didnt have a system to warn or alert the pilot the autopilot had been PARTIALLY disengadged
The soviet era was when it was government owned before it became a commercial company only
1)And the language is also easy. I think it is even easy to understand. In the beginning it is written "Information(call) center", and people say "Kompaniya Aeroflot-Rossiyskie avialinii, *their number*, zdravstvuyte" it is translated "Aeroflot-Russian Airlines company, *their number*, hello". Sometimes they say their name.
Yeah, I started learning a few words and Cyrillic by myself, I'm thinking of taking courses when I have the time. I love how they answer the phone, I find it sexy! ;)

I'm glad to see that Aeroflot have finally started employing engineers. I think they got the message after 170 air crashes.

Well my excuse, I am currently a full-time student and a trip to Russia is the last thing on my mind. Moscow is a long way to go from Toronto.
