I saw this a few months back. It was half the reason I came to youtube in the first place. If there were talented musicians like this on youtube, than I just HAD to hear more from them. ;) This is also when I realized just how far ANY instrument could be go. And this does seem like a VERY technically challenging piece. I am thoroughly impressed as well. Great job to everyone who was involved. I want to see the whole concert now, one part after another. ;)
Gosh Heather...I didn't know you were THIS good! If this is all sight reading, omg, wow! I'm sorry if I ever said anything was wrong with your technique :(
Darn it! This "Dr. Kristopher Maloy" beat me to first concerto for ocarina.... >:( Darn it, Banjo concerto has been done, as well as tin whistle concerto... Steel string guitar concerto maibe?
Ahaha... this was put out the same time as the video announcing the winners of the Ocarina Star Search. It's like patting the noobs on the head before blowing them away with a freakishly technical piece... and FREAKING ORCHESTRA!
Tanti complimenti a Mr. Maloy per aver scritto una nuova bellissima pagina di repertorio per il nostro strumento musicale, e a te per essere riuscita a realizzare questa stupenda (e difficilissima) performance!
Ocarina Need emotion... that is too much technique for me ... Heather need more emotion when she s playing, i am feeling her frozen when i am looking at her :(
Heather relax and breath, shoulder down ! I can feel your stress in your neck and shoulders.
@Massomatos Not that strange if you look to the difficulty of the parts she has to play and having an camera on your face. Suppose she was nervous as hell
I can actually imagine the fire spitting out of the ground while listening to that piece and jumping to avoid it. It is a very interesting piece. I Love it!
I love it! :-)

Wow, you got talent! I was listening to your Zelda Songs, you play perfect, not a single mistake :)
I never knew that an Ocarina is made for this kind of Music. This was the first time i heard an Ocarina with Orchesta.
Sry for my bad English.

Technically, you're a class of your own.
I also like this oldschool movie style music.
It reminds me a bit of the "Planet of the Apes" (the original version, of course).
