  • I stopped smoking 10 weeks ago I just had a physical with my doctor and I asked him to do another lung function test on me and in only 10 weeks my lungs have increased 15 % from 68 % to 83 % I am very happy to see the improvement and I love my E-cig

  • There's four levels of nicotine high, medium, low, and none. My mom and I are non smokers but we do use this product to relieve our stress but without the nicotine

  • the FDA says that they cannot regulate the nicotine intake so it will be banned? or they cannot regulate the tax intake unlike the regular DANGEROUS AND CANCEROUS TOBACCO?

if they will banned e-cigarettes why not banned the regular tobacco which is far more dangerous?

its all about the money, money, money.....

  • Yep They Do Exist!

  • I enjoy smoking and electronic cigarettes help me do that without the extra health risk. I haven't smoked a regular cigarette for a year now and I don't plan to go back. got my e-cig at ECIGSANDJUICE . com

  • oh i know their problem...47 milion smokers...so if 40% go on e cigg, then less people would get sick from regular cigarettes, and less jobs and less medicines for those who got sick so less money...oh so ur dear FDA wants u to get sick so they can make money...what the fuck?do they seriously think that the people are that stupid...but if they ban e-cig.they should ban regular ciggarets first...

  • screw what fda think if they ever banned them people will just resort to illigal use and boot leg them on streets i knw i would if uk banned them but seems uk are ok with them now so thank god im in uk lol

  • Hmm, seeing that the FDA already banned flavored cigs in the US (I MISS YOU, DJARUM BLACKS!!!), and that the awful, life-threatening side effects of TOBACCO has been common knowledge for decades...why the fuck are tobacco cigarettes even legal with the FDA's logic?

I've been tobacco-free for 39 days now after quitting on August 25th, 2011 and was a smoker for almost 10 years, since I was 15 years old, and haven't felt this healthy since I was a kid. So, FUCK YOU, FDA. I have an e-cigarette.

  • For more information about the E cigarette go to mdsmoke.com and click on "Facts about E cigarette" on the left hand column of the screen.

  • @pnoyrock76 i quit cold turkey several times but you know what? I like to smoke. Its my choice and its my right. who are you to tell anyone how to live? If smoking was so wrong why don't they outlaw all smoking? Why dont you see the truth by looking at the fact that there is an alliance between Philip Morris and the FDA but e-cigs have nothing to do with that. for those who like e-cigs enjoy them while you can.

  • Are you kidding me? the FDA says, what a joke, did you ever see those ads on TV for drugs that will help depression ,one of the many side effects listed is suicide and the FDA approves those drugs? The only reason there going after safecig and products like them is pretty obvious, they haven't yet got there payoff or kickback or whatever you want to call it. My son just purchased a safecig for me, and i love it, go away FDA

  • You have to understand that since sometime this year. That FDA has been included into Tobacco companys. FDA regulates Multi Billion Dollar tobacco companys, which allows FDA too create jobs for their divisions. Why would they want a SAFE and ALTERNATIVE to extremely harmfull product..... Sounds like someone is getting a nice little chunk of money on the side. Money buys Peoples always remember that!!

  • A good e-cig is far less expensive than $75 - $100. I got 2 very nice ones (Riva 510s) with a charger and carrying case for under $35. I spend around $10 a week on liquids and vape all day. A pack-a-day habit is $35 a week where I live.

Do not buy an ecig from a mall kiosk or from television. You will get a very inferior product and pay way too much for it.

  • what state u in? $35 for a pack a day in week? it would be at least $60 a week for one whole pack a day

  • From more than 1 pack a day - for 30 years - to being tobacco free for more than a month. It has worked for me and that is all that matters for me and my family.

I have tried gum, nicotine patches and basically everything else and this is the only one that has really worked.

Smoking is like a warm bed on a cold night. So easy to get into but difficult to get out of. This device basically gave me a sweater helping me get out of that bed.

  • These things work. They are cheep, I spent $130, shipping included. I'm 5 days in a row with no smoking! I was a pack a day before that. No lie, I went from 20 cigs/day to ZERO cigs/day the FIRST day I used my E-cig. I won't tell brand cause I'm not selling them, just truth.

  • ciggerettes+= over 3000 carcinogens....e-cigs NADA!

  • Yup, more than 47 million smokers - and just in the US. Pretty amazing. Our prediction is that we'll see less smokers and more e-cigarette users in the coming year.

  • OH MY GOD!!!

Australia will endorse plain packaging but not the E-cigarette?

    how stupid does that sound...

i'm at a loss for words...

  • Why is FOX so against this? Hmmm..... Rupert own shares in Marlboro?

  • Can't measure how much nicotine you get? You can't measure how much nicotine you get with a cigarette either! They let Aspartame out on the market, & that's one of the most dangerous products on the market! These e-cigarettes are not safe for FDA bank accounts. That's it!

  • What's stupid about it is the FDA thinks people will fall for their lies. Not this time.

  • What the fuck is wrong with our stupid useless FDA? These e-cigarettes have been around for quite some time, and they haven't tested them? Yet they'll approve regular cigarettes, Phen-Phen, Redux, alcohol, Vivarin, Vioxx, etc :\ Stupid, Stupid Stupid

  • I might go into the VA hospital for a week for a fancy pain care treatment. Boy, I hope they let me bring in some prefilled carts, since I don't think nicotine liquids would be allowed.

  • they declair this product bad for you and there has not been one report of a person that had a lung or any other problem yet a real cigarette has killed millions and not one ban!!!

  • Here is a report for you people, the US government and the FDA wants to ban the stuff and regulate it and yet the reason is, because big government and the FDA isn't making any money off the stuff, like the type of taxes they make off tobacco sales. These kooks in government are just control freaks nothing more and they sure as hell are not worried about anybody's health issue, that's for sure.

  • @markg667 You said it man , the FDA is thinking about that 3 billion some odd dollars a year the government makes off cigarette tax. First people get on this kick , cancer starts to plummet in the US , which causes the oncology field to go broke , which causes drops in pharmaceutical sales , which causes stocks to bottom out. If you hate this government and want to destroy it , everybody get healthy :)

  • The FDA would be the last Id ask advice from.

  • @HOLYtDESTROYER , Ain't that the truth. They're such quacks..

  • As with all things that have a high a high profit margin, politics is probably at the center of the issue. I'm sure that politicians are in bed with the tabacco companies and get a healthy kick back from them. I have smoked for over 40 years and fully intend to try these new ecigarettes, if it helps me quit smoking then I'm all for them.

  • @JSWin01 Do like I did , use the nicotine free cartrages. It only takes a few days to detox from the nicotine but the hardest part is the psychological & oral addiction and thats where this device comes in handy. But watch your diet because without the nicotine speeding your system you might puick up a few pounds.

  • Fuck the FDA and the politics surrounding these E-cigs. All it comes down to is politicians in bed with tobacco companies, along with these tobacco lobbyists that are trying to shut this franchise down, because it poses a huge threat to them.

  • The only reason the FDA would have to banning the sales is because it's not tobacco and the government, both state and federal would lose the tax money from every pack of cigarettes replaced by this device.

  • I'm now on my fifth day using e-cigs and only had one traditional cigarette (and that was only because I was charging my battery).

Nicotine gum didn't work for me, just made me burp. The nicotine patch didn't help. Chantix made me feel like crap and I threw them in the trash.

  • the federal and state government are planning on adding a gigantic tax on these things very soon. first the fda will regulate it like a bunch of retards then state and local taxes will kill it. e cigs obviously aren't really safe but their 4,000 times safer than a regular cigarette which contains nearly 4,000 known or unknown chemicals, 40 of which cause cancer. if you smoke, make the switch, its far cheaper too. each cig costs about 6 cents!

  • yup there are a lot of cock suckers out there

  • (continued from below) This is the same FDA that is in bed with big pharm companies-the same companies that want to keep making drugs that "cure" cancer. How's that going so far? More people in this country have cancer than ever before despite the billions that have been poured into "research." The FDA and big pharm make money off of cancer. We know how much liquid nicotine is in each cartridge so it can be measured. You buy e-cigs, you take away from the tobacco & pharm & cancer $ makers.

  • The FDA is responding in this way because...they're the FDA. This is the same FDA that approved the hormone induced milk that was giving people cancer back in the 90's. Remember that? Two reporters on FOX tried to report the story but the station was legally threatened by Monstanto. Since companies such as Monsanto are the lifeline for these networks, bye bye reporters. This is the same FDA that is in bed with the big pharm companies-the same companies that want to keep making drugs that

  • correction Australia has banned the sales of ejuice containing nic, it is still legal to import in quantities for personal use

  • Australia has not banned ecig sales just ejuice containing nic

  • Lets see here. An e cig contains like 4 ingredients, all of which are non cancer causing. A cigarette contains at least 100 cancer causing chemicals with a touch of carbon monoxide. The so called FDA and money hungry government can rot in fucking hell if they think they are going to take away this live saving gift. For the first time in eight years I haven't had a cigarette or used dip for four days now. Still dont want one either. I will continue using it "illegally" if I have to.

  • Can nicotine alone cause serious health products?

  • @GetTheHook A lot of people say the health risks of nicotine are no worse than those of caffeine.

  • on another note, I quit in March and use this product with 100% success, it works! and I like it better as I still enjoy being a smoker just not tobacco. Let them ban it, go on youtube and learn how to make your own if they do, it cant be stopped, finally the tobacco industry is going down!

  • FDA is a ridiculous bunch of bureaucrats, and basically an organized crime syndicate in and of itself. They cant regulate it therefore cannot make money like they can with the patches, the gum, the tobacco companies. A fed judge already ruled FDA cant do squat. Basically they and the tobacco industry were too late on this one haha. Besides what is a ban anyway? you can get weed practically anywhere. All it means is if they cant make money on it you cant buy it commercially, but you can still buyit

  • of course they will find a way to ban this.. If every smoker used this e-cig remember there would be NO american heart and lung association, If everysmoker stopped smoking US economy would be in a world of hurt. They want you to keep smoking!

  • Of course the FDA wants to squash the electronic cigarette market! Ecigs cut into the money they receive from the tobacco lobbyists! V2CIGS.com is an American company that is based in Florida. Use code “ thankburgess “ for 15% off starter kits.

  • i have one, i love it. right now im smoking apple pie flavor

  • liquid nicotine? does that mean you have to keep reloading it? where would u get liquid nicotine

  • @Livinglifehigh same places you get the e-cig.. you can get your own or buy the pre-filled cartridges from them.. it's not hard to find at all look up e-juice.. and it's really not hard to use either.. consider weighting that against sticking with cancer causing cigarettes with over 500 chemicals..

  • I am smoke free for 6 days now. Didn't intend to quit, just wanted something I can puff away on indoors. If the FDA takes these away they are sentencing thousands of people to an early grave.

  • As a 14-year smoker, I am really considering this as a real option to get away from regular cigarettes. Honestly, I am doing it just for the cost, and convenience, and maybe ween myself off nicotine one day for good. By the way, the female reporter is a hottie in my opinion :) If she had nicotine in her, I'd smoke her all day.

  • @ptschafer why are you smoking at 14 years old?

  • @CrazyKing570 Re-read what I said. I said I am a 14-year smoker... I am NOT 14 years old. In other words, I have been smoking for 14 years, etc.

  • @ptschafer Ah.. My apologies, I was reading through the comments rather quickly at the time.. and misread.. On another note it's a good thing to consider given that or a slow (or even fast) death from cigarettes.. I'm really considering it for family members.. and I agree about the reporter.. "smokin" hot..

  • @CrazyKing570 No worries on the apology, I understand. Anyway, I am considering anything, just to cut the health risks and the cost as well, and everything else. Don't get me wrong, I love smoking... and I understand how non-smokers don't understand how strong of an addiction nicotine is. I just wish I would have never started in the first place. But I would like to step down slowly with something healthy at my own pace... you can't "pace" a patch, etc, and the oral fixation part is interesting.

  • @ptschafer I'd go for it.. fuck can't be any worse then real cigarettes, and everybody's saying it's healthier.. (except the tobacco endorsed) I mean over 500 chemicals or something like that or a little Propylene glycol.. I'd take the vapor.. I know what it's like.. I'd use it to wing myself off the nicotine and help with the fixation.. I tired cold turkey but it's hard going for a few days without wanting to rip somebodies head off..

  • Might not be safe???? ARE REGULAR CIGARETTES CONSIDERED SAFE!!!!!!!!!!!! JESUS CHRIST HOW RIDICULOUS!

  • I got one less than a week ago hardly smoke regular cigerettes now this is the only thing that has help me. makes me wonder if the fda or goverment really wants people to quit look at all the taxes they make off the sale of cigerettes i think it a lot safer than regular cigerettes

  • typical that the FDA is not aware that the nicotine content is indeed regulated. You buy the strength you want going from 32 to 0 mg of nicotine. that way you can wean yourself off of nicotine without the discomfort of going cold turkey, all the while you still get the feeling of still smoking.

the only reason for not approving it would be it isn't taxed yet, and that they hate for people to do something they like to do...

  • do you still have to be 18 to use it?

  • @blobperson yes.. it's not candy it's meant for adult smokers...

  • @CrazyKing570 k, thanks, i was thinking of using those so it wouldnt be illegal, but fuck it ill just stick to tabacco

  • @blobperson you have to be 18 to use either.. I don't understand your point..

  • @CrazyKing570 no you dont....im proof of that, i just wanted to get my fix legealy, but i dont really care legeal or not...

  • just a non smoker here and think these are rather cool.

  • @203207ab Don't start.. I wish I didn't..

  • do your research, some are better than others.

  • I am a smoker of 27 years. I have tried patches, pills, gum, inhalers and hypnosis and this is the ONLY thing that has helped me :) Everyone around me is happier and I dont have to go outside to smoke anymore and I smoke in the car !! It has a lot of pluses that make this an attractive option. Good Luck to everyone that is trying this product

  • I really think i should get one of these "e-cigs" As much as i love my Old Holborn rolling tobacco, its time to quit or atleast move on to something alot less deadly...

  • thts is fine they are the ones making the goverment loose money since we have to order it online from other countries ....dumb arses

  • I unintentionally quit using an electronic cigarette! I smoked for over 20 years. This is the first thing that has EVER helped me and I wasn't really "trying" to quit.

Love my electronic cigarette and believe that it literally saved my life and is saving MANY more.

  • @msqun I really want to say this. I buy mine and it arrives today.

  • my thing is... "they might not be safe." WTF? ARE CIGARETTES SAFE? LOL GET OVER IT.

  • What's the FDA's problem? "They might not be safe." OK, well couldn't you find out if they're safe or not? You're the FDA, aren't you? Also, does the FDA usually assume things are dangerous until proven otherwise? Is that why Fen-phen was banned pending a study about its safety? OH WAIT... IT WASN'T!

I think I know why. Fen-phen was a multi-million dollar pharmaceutical cash cow, and e-cigarettes aren't. Actually e-cigs take money away from the patch-making pharm industry. I get it.

  • try the e-cig. i've been on numerous threads, forums, websites. read the testimonials, opinions and decided to buy one after a 20 year habit of tobacco smoke. its been 4 wks now. no cravings. the smell of tobacco smoke is nostalgic to me, as if i was 12 again in a bowling alley. eyuk! i'm real...

  • Switch to electronic cigs. I smoked for 12 years, then switched to e cigs. I haven't been back.

    Steve McCleen

  • I was a smoker of 20 years and went cold turkey last March just before the new taxes. Funny but all the cravings have come back stronger than ever HELP. Any advice please.

  • @ben6185

I know you posted a long time ago but this really is the best thing I ever did for my health. I believe. you can get a lot of information and have your questions answered at e-cigarette-forum . com VERY good place to start. I hope this helps. Good Luck!!!!
