The parents of these kids had more than enough time to become legal citizens and chose not to. My personal dream is that the American citizen will no longer have their jobs taken away. Our shelters are filled to capacity and tent cities are growing. It would not have been fair or right for these kids to shove themselves ahead of the line and take an opportunity that belonged to someone else.

Informed voters know giving green cards to illegal alien students undermines the rule of law, creates more illegal immigration incentives and grants preferential treatment to illegal alien students over law-abiding native and naturalized American students struggling to get an education in tough economic times. Moreover, that appealing to the youth of a growing Latino community is a purely political move to garnish votes. The youth in this video are being used by the political machine.

The parent may came here over with illegal status initially or may with legal route. but their status got expired in the end. so the case has variety, better not be judged & generalized as whole. Since they don't have any choice, they would follow their parents because they were under dependency of their parent.(it is the same matter for all countries, not only in case of U.S.)
