Its amazing how far they've come and how much you can get in this car besides the tremendous performance. I know the top speed for a mustang v6 is 160, what is top speed for v8 and then GT500? 2011 speeds plz.

Fuel shut off is 145, even if the speedo goes to 160. If there were no speed limiter, 145 is probably about maxed on the v6, althought the new 305hp v6 may top that. The gt unlimited may reach about 160-170 and the gt500 maybe 180, although wind and "lift" (floating off the road when too much air gets under the car) may be an issue.

No there has never been a 4 door Mustang, that would be a sedan, The two model lines are Coupes (2 doors) and Convertibles (also 2 doors)

@GMurphSC06GT It's the same as clothes. You can buy a t-shirt for 50 cents, but slap a "Tommy Hilfiger" tag on it and all of a sudden it's worth 50 bucks. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to own a Shelby. But like you said, if you know what you're doing, you can basically build your own Shelby for much less.

As for the question on which one will be faster? I believe the GT500 will still be faster with the 550hp. If they get 510hp out of an 11 to 1 compression ratio 5.0 by simply bolting on a supercharger without making an adjustment. From all the engineers I've talked to that have worked with the new 5.0 motor, it will be surprising if the motor doesn't break without more modification.

HID lights are standard.

They are standard for 2011, but this one was a 2010 and they were optional then. In 2011, the price goes up a couple thousand dollars, but the $1,000 gas guzzler tax is eliminated and the HID headlights are standard. So, the 2011 has almost the same MSRP as a 2010 as long as you added the HID headlight option in 2010. BTW, I have a 2011 GT500 due in any day. Would anyone like me to do a video dyno???

I did actually. I did a dyno on both the 2010 and the 2011. The 2011 Dyno is on here on my other videos. The 2010 Made 459rwhp. And the 2011 made 479rwhp. 459rwhp is 541hp at 18% and is within Fords rating. 479rwhp is 565hp and above Fords 550hp rating on the 11's. Neither car makes 500-520rwhp stock. I've been doing this for 12 years. Owned 9 Mustangs and bought the 11 in the dyno vid. I'd love for it to have made 520rwhp, but when I add the mods I have, it will have 580rwhp hopefully

There are ways to manipulate numbers. Such as doing a dyno in a very low temperature / humidity controled area, Icing down a motor, adding race fuel etc. Those are not real world scenarios and not a good representation.

The 2011 will get 550HP, the 2010 has 540hp. Which is up from 500hp of the 2009. The cold air kit was new for 2010 and Ford "Re-tuned the car" with more aggressive air fuel management to squeeze the additional 40hp out.

Actually emblem is on the rt side of car. Opposite of steering wheel which is on the left side as per left hand drive in North America,.Don't worry, lots of people do that when standing in front of the car.
