Hedburg might take us to the playoffs but I can't imagine a cup in the next 3 years, in other words once we get another goalie, we get another cup :D

Well, Vernon almost grabbed it with his glove at the last second, if not almost knocked it away with his stick at the last second there also, but , as is clear from in this video, Niedermayer just chipped it clear enough above Vernon's limbs.

SteveO....totally agree. I have wondered for years why this goal isn't talked about as one of the all time greats. It was already an amazing play BEFORE he missed the shot and knocked it in out of the air.
