And poking fun at a great British institution -- Hattie Jacques (I guess Beth Ditto didn't rhyme with Fatty) -- who was more famous than you will ever be. Despite... uh... being, gosh, 'fat'. by the looks of things no, cause its abit of fun and i think people should make more vids like this to stop world hunger??? cause at the moment there are to many "obeased" people and we should take specil care of them when its there fault they got in that stage. so to be honested i don't really care about them that much if there old enough to know what to be eating, then on the flip side they can diet-live longer and have a easyier lifestyle! but there to lazy to walk the shops.

As someone who eats super healthily, I agree with you in essence. And I think it's disgusting that westerners in general gorge themselves while people are starving in other parts of the world. However... I don't think this video draws on that comparison or is made for that purpose -- or even presents that notion at all.

I also know obesity CAN be caused by medical conditions (like the thyroid) so I think it was ill-informed of someone to mention that in the lyrics (which were clearly penned in an afternoon down the pub). I also don't think using images of Hattie Jacques was at all appropriate either. So, still find it offensive and not funny. And no... I'm not obese, I eat very healthily and work out. And I do have a sense of humour -- laugh my head off at Little Britain's clever 'fat jokes'.

@amsterholic underactive thyroids can cause people to lack energy, find it hard to get up and about, so yes they put weight on, but to get seriously over weight they still have to over eat! and anyway there are effective treatments for underactive thyroid glands, if there was such a link to thyroid and fatties, every fattie would be asked to have their thyroid tested, they dont as there is very little real link to these to problems. Also little britain is not clever, it's funny but not clever
