If you compare the photos on the given webside where this guy is seen standing with photos of Jim standing you see the big difference.This guy´s upper part of the body is too short compared to the length of his legs. Jims upper part of the body was much longer in comparison to the rest. Same goes for the size of the head to the rest of the body. These relations won´t change drastically. Plz apologize to all!!!

You need to get a side profile of this guy from his right side, If you notice in Jim's early days his nose looked kinda shorter on his right side than his left side, It was easy to distinguish even with his beard! This guys nose looks kinda pointed and long.! In my opinion I think Morrison's dead, the idea of him becoming a cowboy in Oregon is a little unbelievable!

dimpled area on the cheek does match, most do not have that feature. lips do get less full with age. chin is right. could be. it has been decades. I have other clues if we ever meet. be well.
biggest difficulty i have with this is simple. transparency demo as shown here is interesting. but the thing is when you know a person's facial features from having seen their pictures countless times...there is a recognition thing that happens regardless of aging. features remain more or less similar through the years, barring surgical alteration. and no matter how much i want to believe this incredibly fascinating proposition, he simply does not look enough like Jim for me to be convinced...

This man is Bill Loyer and you can find out about more about him by getting the cheezy video or reading at the Museum of Hoaxes website where some of the people who personally met Bill Loyer are testifying that it's Jim Morrison.

Thanks pmph18, I have spoken with Bill's (Jim Morrison's) wife and she/they told me that they appreciate my efforts. David Logan was Jim's friend in OR and he told me they were greatful since about 2007 when I started this. JIM MORRISON WANTS TO COME OUT OF HIDING AT THIS TIME, however it has to be in the right light and not ridiculed. But the people in power right now, especially the DOORS just ridicule. We were actually aquainted with Bill when we lived in Jacksonville, Oregon. He did a lot of tile work at our house there about nine years ago, and we even got together socially a few times. He told some outrageous stories! Although I believe it is very possible that he's really Jim (age, looks, mannerisms, voice, testimony of his friends, etc), the one thing I wondered about was his height, as Bill seemed to be shorter than Jim Morrison was reported to be.

When you made this video and posted it in 2007, that would've meant that Jim would've been about 63 - 64ish. That man that you compared Jim to looks like he's in his 40s.

biggest difficulty i have with this is simple. transparency demo as shown here is interesting. but the thing is when you know a person's facial features from having seen their pictures countless times...there is a recognition thing that happens regardless of aging. features remain more or less similar through the years, barring surgical alteration. and no matter how much i want to believe this incredibly fascinating proposition, he simply does not look enough like Jim for me to be convinced...

@ugslamma my research today was a fun project. one site said Mr. Morrison called a band member years later (maybe huh) and the words were dig it up, he said in france it takes 12 bishops permit to do that. I hope he has horses and a life and still writes and reads. one can always hope.

This man is Bill Loyer and you can find out about more about him by getting the cheezy video or reading at the Museum of Hoaxes website where some of the people who personally met Bill Loyer are testifying that it's Jim Morrison.

it's a fact of human anatomy/biology that our noses and ears never stop growing throughout our whole lives. some people are surprised to learn this but it's true. that's why most old people (older than the guy in this pic i mean), especially the men, have fairly big noses and ears, if you think about it.
anyway, the the guy in this picture, who's supposed to be jim morrison decades later . . . even though he's not exactly old, has a *more narrow* nose than the lizard king. so no C-gar.

Thanks pmph18, I have spoken with Bill's (Jim Morrison's) wife and she/they told me that they appreciate my efforts. David Logan was Jim's friend in OR and he told me they were greatful since about 2007 when I started this. JIM MORRISON WANTS TO COME OUT OF HIDING AT THIS TIME, however it has to be in the right light and not ridiculed. But the people in power right now, especially the DOORS just ridicule. If you have any serious suggestions on how I can do better please let me know. ty

Using the anorexic photo of Jim's might not be the best choice to overlay. The reason being is when that pic was taken he was just living the Bohemian lifestyle. That is to say he had no food. As a result he was a skeleton of his normal self. Now you lose or gain weight globally. You do not spot reduce or spot appreciate or expand. There for if Jim were alive you'd have to assume he wasn't totally starving and would fill out more. Also perspective is an issue. The press photo was a longer shot

I really think about that question a lot. JM was a hero to me, and I believe has become appreciated as an American Legend and a highly revered poet. I've come to know him as a friend too, so to me this has really become like SAVING PRIVATE RYAN. Yeah he's just a private- BUT HE'S ONE OF US!

We were actually aquainted with Bill when we lived in Jacksonville, Oregon. He did a lot of tile work at our house there about nine years ago, and we even got together socially a few times. He told some outrageous stories! Although I believe it is very possible that he's really Jim (age, looks, mannerisms, voice, testimony of his friends, etc), the one thing I wondered about was his height, as Bill seemed to be shorter than Jim Morrison was reported to be.

I've even talked to a few and keep in touch with a couple and like me they are 100% certain that it is Jim. We've all done our homework, now it's time for the DOORS to tell us then who Bill Loyer is if not Jim Morrison.

When you made this video and posted it in 2007, that would've meant that Jim would've been about 63 - 64ish. That man that you compared Jim to looks like he's in his 40s.
There is a crazy match between the two, pretty weird. I believe that Jim died in 1971. If he did fake his death like some people believe then how exactly would he have done it? They found his body and everything. I guess I could see both sides to the story since no no autopsy was performed.

If you read about Jim, you'll see how much he treasured his physique and liked to stay strong. Second, look at the structure of the nose, specifically the center. Again Jim's is very fine lined, with pronounced flairs to the nostrils. The only way that could have changed to this other person's nose, is if he got punched or broke it multiple times.

Any person with any kind of aesthetic education can clearly see, even in this poor quality video, that these two people are not even close in looks.
Yes the expression is similar, but follow the line of the lips, specifically the curvature of the top lip.
This feminine styled lip of Jim Morrison is one of his key features that made him so attractive to the public eye. The other photo is totally devoid of that curve, especially in the center. You do not lose a feature this strong due to time.

Your efforts in research in this matter is the only jok sayday. I have no regrets in having used the word "proof" instead of evidence in this case. I am completely certain that Bill Loyer is Jim Morrison having utilized much evidence and "proof" acquired through interviews of Bill's neighbors in OR and other people who have met him and also having spoken several times with Bill's wife who assured me it was Jim and that the remaining DOORS want nothing to do with this.

Young Jim has more flared nostrils.
The noses look too different unless they've changed somewhat due to aging.
If this is the real Jim Morrison, then it's obvious he wants to be left alone, otherwise he would have released clearer pictures for comparison.

From what I understand clearer pictures are now available on the rodeoswest site. Gerald Pitts told me to do this simple test for months and I thought it would be silly. But when I actually lined them up I was really fascinated. Huck, surgery, lots of plastic surgery. Anyway, this little test was fun, but it took many months of research before 100% certain that it is Jim Morrison.
