A brief history of wow:

Orcs live in Draenor (Outland), Burning legion comes along with Guldan makes orcs go bad they attack azeroth and the humans living there. Grom HS + Thrall kill the pit lord (vid on youtube) + free the orcs. Thrall forms the new horde & has some dream to sail east to Kalimdor.

Helps various groups along the way which makes horde. Orcs killed loads of humans so thats basically a poor explanation of everything... And no Orcs didn't kill Varians wife that was the Defias...

Personally, I think if the Humans of Stormwind all died, there would be a better chance of peace. Of course, Blizzard needs pvp so that will never happen but if Bliz decided to FF years ahead in their lore and they wiped out the SW humans, peace would be much closer to happening.

This is WAY WAY WAY WAY after the events of "Through the Dark Portal". The orcs invaded Azeroth for no reason. They were led by a tyrant into Azeroth under the influence of the Legion. Although both sides have a common enemy, the Legion, it is still fine for the alliance to hate the horde. They invaded their towns and cities for no reason, and were only looking to steal land which was rightfully the humans. Not to mention they slaughtered Dreanai before they came to azeroth.

And to be fair, the Orcs put it upon themslves. If they never drank the demon blood they'd still be friends with the Draenei on a non-shattered Outland.

After the battle at the Wrath Gate, the alliance no longer likes the horde, they believe it was their fault that they lost the fight. Also considering that the alliance king never did like the horde, that doens't help. Thrall only fights to defend himself, Garrosh simply doesn't like the alliance.

It wasn't just that they drank Mannoroth's blood. From reading Rise of the Horde, Orgrim Doomhammer noticed before they had drank Mannoroth's blood that his skin and the tinge of those within the Blackrock clan when they went to the Ogres to recruit them had started becoming green. From recollection I can't remember if once an orc drank they blood it turned green instantly, but any orc that didn't take up fight to the Draenei managed to retain their skin colour. Mainly those in Nagrand.
