Hallo Magnus , not only your letter to FIDE in November 2010 shows that you are not any longer the best chessplayer , since November 2010 Viswanthan is also again the chessplayer with the highest rating. Try to beat my worldrecord with mate in 550 here on youtube if you can ... kindly regards from Karlsruhe , Germany
Hello Magnus , you didnt beat the - WORLD - you beat - ONLY 3 GM - with over 100 elo less than you have. Against the WORLD with the normal PC-Hardware and Stockfish 1.8 - or better Rybka-4-Software at home you cant win. The WORLD knows that your BOXING-show was only a DECEPTION. You say in your clip : Can YOU beat me
You don't have to be 25 years old to be a grandmaster as long as you meet the grandmaster's Norm by participating and defeating some Grandmasters in a sanction tournament. There are several well known Grandmasters in the world that are under 25 years old! There is no such rule as "must be 25 years old or older to become a grandmaster"...lol
Great video mate, I feel sorry for Shirov, he`s a fighter, but really Carlsen it`s getting stronger and more focused, he`s now a tremendous force in chess, making history before our eyes! Magnus is my favorite GM !
This is a great video. Watch Shirov's arms as he realizes his mistake. Also, the bewildered eyes at the end there really makes this video good. Sad for Shirov that he lost of course
Although I'm impressed with Carlsen's results and rooting for him, I really became sad with Shirov's blunder, and even Magnus himself felt horrible for that.
Anyway, it's part of the game, and the wonderboy, after 7 hours of battle, proved that he deserved the full point.
I guess he's on the right way to become our next champ.
looks like carlsen was a bit disatisfied by winning through a shirov blunder. but he had outplayed shirov and had a winning position through much of the game.

Lol,you have to be at least 25 years to be a GM,that's the rule.

and you are a retard, get a life moron.
mshrum555 2 years ago
Says the guy who thinks you need to be 25 to become a GM... All you needed to do was look at most of the greatest GM's to see that you are wrong.
Nadrealis 2 years ago
says the retard who doesn't know the rules...
mshrum555 2 years ago
What are you talking about? You're 15, I know more about Chess than your sweaty palm does your phallus.
To become a GM you must participate in GM norms and must play above a certain rating consistently to earn the title.

lol,i don't need to hear what a 13 years old kid says about things he doesn't even know about
