You don't have to be 25 years old to be a grandmaster as long as you meet the grandmaster's Norm by participating and defeating some Grandmasters in a sanction tournament. There are several well known Grandmasters in the world that are under 25 years old! There is no such rule as "must be 25 years old or older to become a grandmaster"...lol

Great video mate, I feel sorry for Shirov, he`s a fighter, but really Carlsen it`s getting stronger and more focused, he`s now a tremendous force in chess, making history before our eyes! Magnus is my favorite GM !

This is a great video. Watch Shirov's arms as he realizes his mistake. Also, the bewildered eyes at the end there really makes this video good. Sad for Shirov that he lost of course

Although I'm impressed with Carlsen's results and rooting for him, I really became sad with Shirov's blunder, and even Magnus himself felt horrible for that.

Anyway, it's part of the game, and the wonderboy, after 7 hours of battle, proved that he deserved the full point.

I guess he's on the right way to become our next champ.
