Mapex QR Series Drum Set

im gonna buy a Mapex QR heavy metal set with 8 drums...

its very cheap but damn i hope its quality!!! im not gonna buy another set when i get good at playing!!

If heard some drummers on really good sounding drums and they make it sound awful. Mapex QR 2008 is a good drum kit, dont go for the 2009 because it sounds bad since they cut back. If you can spend more than do, if you can not then its a good drum kit. I dont know anything about 8 piece it must be a Norway thing, really you only need 5 6 is good though, like Mapex VX which they dont do any more. Im buying a Mapex QR 2008.

@14Norway88 i like JUST got a 5-piece QR and my friend (also my band's drummer) has one and they're amazing, u just need to put rings on the heads cuz they ring out for too long, but other than that they sound amazing, i like it a lot

no, you have to make your own hole. Buy a kickport or sumthin, sounds great!
