California law about recording private conversations (read "confidential communications") specifically states it excludes "any other circumstance in which the parties to the communication may reasonably expect that the communication may be overheard or recorded." (leginfo.ca.gov - Penal Code 632 part C)
I am sure everyone thinks differently, but I would reasonably expect that if I was having a conversation in a hotel lobby, it can be (or is being 0_o) overheard by another.
I know since he charged me $150.it's insane and not fair @ all.The fee is sopposed to be for cleaning but they were never in the room.And i'm sick so it just makes me grumpier:(
