Kate, I was half way through the video when I realized something. You are basically River's Guardian Angel. The reason she "picked you" was because she somehow knew you would help her. You cared enough for this cat to bring her to the Hope organization. She knows she will be healthy again and will get a home. All because you had the heart to save her. River will remember her Guardian Angel forever, just as we know you'll always remember her and have her in your heart. You did a good thing Kate.

I took my cats on an 8 hour car ride when we moved states. Also, my father FOUND a kitty at his vacation house, and took the kitty back in the car for 12 HOURS! The kitty wasn't in a cage and just walked around the car, sat on his lap, climbed the dashboard and finally fell asleep on the head rest of the passenger seat. So effing cute. And it was only a month old or so.

I understand how it feels to love a cat and have to give it up. A few years ago, my brother found the sweetest little kitten by our house. She was so loving and sweet, my brother named her Larawr, cause "rawr" means "I love you" in dinosaur. She loved everyone and wanted to be with anyone. She stayed with us for only one night, but the next day we all had trouble letting her go. We took her to the pound and knew she found a home soon and was so loved, but I miss her.

My cat now is this awesome shelter cat who basically claimed me the second I walked into the adult room. He's full of love and he has since become just as bratty as normal because I've spoiled him.
