@Yuna101Xxx Ugh, i used to do that all the time! My advice to you is to start working more on your leg strength because that's obviously the most important thing for aerials in general since you clearly aren't using your arms. Really focus on planting your front foot into the ground before you push off and remember to aim for height, not width (jumping up and not out). Once you got that down, focus on swinging your legs over as fast as possible. Hope this helps. Good luck! =)
@TINAisDOPE great learned how but know im trying a front walk over on the ground and when i do it i put my hands down foward like normal but i turn my body and end up side ways when i push lightly but when i push hard i leave hand on the ground cuz im scared im going to fall but when i do that i end up landing on my knees or my butt :( got any tips ?
@Yuna101Xxx Well, front walkovers are a bit tricky, but i must say that they're my favorite. It's easier to go faster, but they're supposed to be kinda slow, so that's what's kind of annoying about it. When you start, make sure you put your arms straight up in a salute with your hands shoulder length apart. Now when you put your arms down onto the mat, make sure that your arms are STILL shoulder length apart and in a straight line (try making a triangle with your index fingers and thumb...
@TINAisDOPE you are hlping me soooo much with my gymnastics thankyou soooo much im soo close ill prob get it today thx to you your awesome again thx so much
@Yuna101Xxx ...then slowly separate them so that they remain shoulder length apart). This should help you go straight over, rather than sidewas. And again, push off with your front leg just like the standing aerials, and make sure to swing that back leg forward as fast as you can. When standing up from your walkover, your head should be the last thing to come up, with your arms still straight up in a salute (pretend like they're glued to your ears). Hope this helps a little. Goodluck! =)
@sygnum1001 I think i got my prob. i think im just not pushing hard enough like in a one handed cart wheel you have to push harder!!! hopefully i can learn
