Living with STD is a hard life to many people. When I found this site STDslove. com (my favorite STD dating site) I was once again hopeful. There are many sexy girls and hot guys who are seeking match living with the same STD here. All of them are friendly and informative.
I get free medical from the VA no complaints there but my only personal complaint is all the blood test they want all the time which is so very hard for me to do cuz I dont have any veins in my arms at all so they poke around my hands till they find something why cant they get blood from your legs I just hate going to give blood!
@frnzkuester I have HCV like you.I was clear after treatment years ago but I now found I'm positive again. I give blood tests myself & I get from my legs, nothing else to do. Either leg, neck or cut your finger. But that hurts!
@livelink01 Cut your finger?!!!! That does sound like it hurts. So how exactly does your drawing blood work, do you draw blood at home then rush it to the hospital or lab?
I draw blood at home with equip same as theirs, into tubes as color required. Take them to hosp lab within 2 hrs for testing. Much less stress than them poking around. (now they wont do me) much prefer me to do it. Maybe it's the Hep C making them scared to touch me now!!!
Hey, this is great informatino. Thanks for posting it. I work in Australia and we have exactly the same problems with Drs here - yet, the research on iron and Hepatitis is clear. Thanks, jim
@FluxRostrum I forget how lucky i am being from the UK no health bills ever... i go to a clinic for methadone anyway, later today in fact they can test me then. or ill test myself, they dont fuck with my veins, i do :p
Ok!... I`m living in Romania... a EU state.... so ... my father has hepatitis c... he payed... health care inssurance..ok ...my father now needs to pay interferon 200 Euros...this meens 300 dollars i guess.. or better than this....my father and my mom got a 400 euro total in one month... so how can they pay this money for my father to be ok? ... to be cured? i`m just asking...! my familiy got to pay banks like 100 -180 euro /month to banks.... can anyone help us? ... thanx
I've had HepC for about 35 yrs. Recently feelong very crappy. Went to Doc, found I had high ferritin levels. Am waiting on results of HFE marker test for Hemochromatosis. Doctor wants to get the levels down...talked about phlebotomy.
I Have had Hep c for 37 years, and I notice that if I have any Iron from food or Vitamins My face gets rashes, this means it is bad for my liver. I stay away from Iron, I also think it makes the virus replicate faster.
Great stuff Mr. Wright, could you please expound on ip6 treatment; I'm still not hip to the medical lingo. But your advice is eye-opening. You just saved me from accepting a biopsy...I owe you one sir. Peace and good health...JM

I just finished 6 months interferon+riba.
My ferritin is at 1164 (max 300!), it was normal b4 treatment. ALT & AST are now normal, they weren't b4 treatment.. Should I worry?
Thanx Lloyd!
