  • I'm moving back home to Halifax to work on them ships.

  • Check out shipbuildinghalifax . com for more information on shipbuilding

  • Doesn't this video say it all. We know what we have here and it is about time we get the good jobs that so many have had to go out West for. To be able to stay home, raise a family comfortably, and enjoy all that Nova Scotia has to offer... What else could we ask for? I worked on the UT in early December as a subcontractor and it really opened my eyes. I was there for 10 days and that was long enough to see how well everyone worked together. That showed me that I want to work there.

  • Excellent video. I worked at the Halifax Shipyards in the late 60's, early 70's when oil rig building and refit of navy vessels were underway. I was an electrical draftsman laying out new electrical systems for many of the rigs and vessels. To see you work sail away from those docks makes working there a gift. Ships Do Start Here! • Wonderful video of our talented shipyard workers, lets not lose this industry like we have the auto industry in Ontario. The pride of the Maritimes, makes me proud to be Canadian
