when I first started to play the song, my mom was in the room with the volume up on the T.V., about half way though I thought mom just muted the T.V and was still in the room...when the song ended my mom hollered at me from her room, making me jump! only then had I realized I was alone in the room XD

@tika88ful this song is supposed to be childish but it is horrifying at the same time, whenever this plays you know you are about to discover the meaning of your journey, and the very end your life. It will haunt you forever after you played this game, you will never forget it. Thats what i mean, Akira did a work of art here in this game, playing with the players mind, summoning the inner feelings of the one who is controlling James.

i remember playing this game two days ago, and it was my first play-through ever, and i solved that puzzle and that music-box started playing... omg it creeped the hell outta me. It was so unsettling, but of course, once you get addicted to the SH series, anything that's normall considered "cute" or "gentle" turns into some creepy shit, and i love it ;P

It's one, he is only called pyramid head, and is there 'cous the main character feels guilt.

So pyramid head is a kind of executioner.

And he only appears in silent hill 2.

No one knows why he wears that silly hat.

Actually, he appears as other incarnations in Silent hill: Origins, homecoming and the Arcade, as well as the movie. He wears the Pyramid because It is a means of torment for him. Also, in Silent hill 2, When James thought of PH, he thought about the Priest of the Order who wore a triangular shaped hood, which would have been Jimmy Stone as mentioned in SH 4.
