If you have it in Dragon mode w/ the cloak encasing him, it helps the dragon head stay upright. And you can use the springs to make him bite w/out having him end up looking at his crotch.

I have one, it's not too bad, but it should have been sold as a Deluxe, like Primal was. Also, I had a spare Predacon spark crystal and replaced the Vehicon one with it, looks better.
