i think it was fixed that u can move and not w8 for the animation but if there is a cast time of anything more than instant then u have to be standing still to cast it... though what i would like to know is: is it possible to dodge spells like in gw or do they follow you like in wow?
lvl cap is 50 for now but if u look at some of the weapons they say "used by lvl 50 and above" so i wouldnt be surprised if there is an expantion already in the works
well the cry engine(farcry) has been around since before wow came out but it was a revolutionary engine when it came out unmatched for its time however there is a cry engine 2 but its horrible performance wise(crysis). Farcrys graphics are still way superior to wows and with the updates to the engine Aion should pwn your eyes
wow takes very little skill now, back at 60 it was a game worth playing... but now that they make it easy to get tier and stuff like that by just runnin heroics is retarded its no longer a game that has a challenge....

wow will never be blanced its a PvE game that has turned into a pvp game. get over that fact and figure NO GAME EVER will be balanced it is impossible and luckily as aion has mass pvp as a main addition balancing is not an issue.
I dont understand why people cry so much about class balancing issues, there is usually one class that is better than every other class, but it changes every patch near enough. So eventually you're class will be the best, for a little while at least.

Raiding is incredibly easy as well, just need to learn the fights. You could screw up a few times while raiding but you would still be fine. Making money is easy as hell with dailies and reputation from argent tourney makes the ambassador title easy. That title used to be difficult to get =(

The Community is what destroyed WoW for me and I don't need that in Aion too. After they took Tabula Rasa offline, Aion is my next big hope to become a decent MMORPG. What I've seen so far looks more than just good for me. I don't want a good game destroyed by a shitty community. Happened too often already...

That's the deal, in order to create a MMO game you really need time even after the release to polish it's flaws as the content is so massive. Though when WoW was released it really had no other games that were up to date and the launch went smooth and they had time to fix the bugs and add content as time went. Now though are all MMO's being compared with WoW which obviously allready have had 5 years so it's not really what you call fair.
theres nothing fun in playing private server it's always fun playing on the real server because there is always events and you know it's not illegal so you have nothing to worry about then there is more players to.
Korean and Chinese aion atm has a 1 hour waiting line before you get to play the game. Everyday i try to login to chinese aion where my server is i wait 1 hour and 40mins there is like 2000 ppl in waiting line to get in lol. there is 8 servers atm and there is room for 5 more.

Considering that this game is a huge budget mmorpg... I doubt there will be only a few set of armors.. Plus, this is still in beta processing so they might add more contents with the final release. Since this is an online game, they can always add more types of new armors through patches... so no need to worry my friend...
I must say, I absolutely love the armor system. They actually look like they put time and effort into making armor look cool and different... unlike some game I know...

Not everyone can pay monthly fee, to play on off servers. I'm talking 'bout GW, 'cause in this case I agree, but L2, Aion and much more have private servers, specially designed for the people, who CAN'T pay.

yea but illigal servers will take about a year to become functional, i know what you mean by playing on an illigal server is probably 100% of the same shit ull get ina regular serve, but hey its ok to pay for something worthy once in a while :D

nah...games that are free to play are hella gay with the cash shop...at higher lvls..like rappelz..u need the cs to make money..and get lvls..Also..its not deep at all...pay to play u are getting the deepness..that some want.

I mainly play WoW, but before that i played Lineage 2, everyone know that aion is 70% same as Lineage too, but ppl like L2 (so do I), i heard that they added more quest lvling and not grind mobs ( like L2) its cool ˇˇ

I think it's a great thing that it is a grinding on the face/body but if you don't want to do it you can allways take the ones that the gm's have done.

Considering that this game is a huge budget mmorpg... I doubt there will be only a few set of armors.. Plus, this is still in beta processing so they might add more contents with the final release. Since this is an online game, they can always add more types of new armors through patches... so no need to worry my friend...

DonBanane, uh, that's good, they should delay it until it's really done. Funcom released Age of Conan a year to early (if you've played the game, you'd know that).

how would u know if rappelz is cruddy? seriously, only a few differences-armor, name, NPC's and of course-quests, other then that, their completely the same....but i have to admit.. the dance is better on Aion than on rappelz, mainly cuz rappelz doesnt have one as far as i'm concerned

Ive played Rappelz, it could not hold my interest for long, graphics were not that great, and all you seemed to do was grind grind grind.

Every game has his copy or suggestion from another game.
Such as in Rappelz. In this game I found things from Ragnarok. And in RO some things from WoW (ok the last one is crap, but its an example =P)
