He's 6 inches taller than Gay and has 40 pounds on him of muscle so his legs are probably ridiculously strong as well as long while Tyson is an ok sized sprinter who has big strides for a guy 5'11 but the strides of a 6'5 man will always overpower that. Exceptions to these however are the 3 losses that I know of from the 200 in 06,07, and the 100 in '10. Still though, Bolt wins 97% of the time

Tyson Gay finally had his surgery after suffering a groin injury which prevented him from fully extending his legs foward..needless to say effects your ENTIRE drive phase and race.....Bolt may however have a better stride..but in every race Tyson closes in easily with thee best top end speed in the business.
