the thing that sucks is my girlfriend has laryngitis so basically if I wanted to talk to her while we r on the ps3 her brother would talk on the mic or she would jus send me messages but when we hang out all I can ask are yes or no questions but I still love her :) she is the best thing that's happened yo me :D

if u rly have that, don't talk. u might have already been to the doctor i hope? if u talk further u might get a chronical laryngitis which can change your voice quality. (im studying speech pathology, in case u think who is giving u tips :D)

I remember when I had laryngitis. I would get a sore throat and then, overnight, the laryngitis would kick in and I would lose my voice completely. I had it last year when I was supposed to be substituting for one of my co-workers. It sucked.

You MUST rest your voice as much as possible. Ask your doctor he/she will tell you this is the only way for it to heal. I lost my voice 7 MONTHS ago and only got one day off work and have to yell all day in a deli with a LONG counter (The boss wouldn't let me just do other duties for awhile), needless to say my voice has been wrecked ever since, and I may have to leave altogether and seek a more suitable employer elsewhere. Forcing yourself to talk only makes it worse and worse.
