In your video you have some great photos but also some mistakes. If you look with some attention you'll see that when you refer to the MiG-29, the 9th photo (underside of a plane) it's a Su-30. When it comes to the Mirage 2000, the 1st photo is of a Mirage F1 and the 5th is of a Rafale (IAF don't have Rafales). In the case of Su-30 you have at least 3 photos of aircraft in Russian markings.

Also, look at the comments given by USAF during the Red Flag Exercise in 2008, where Indian air force participated for the first time and outplayed all other participants. USAF itself admitted that Sukhoi 30 MKI is the best 4.5 gen. aircraft in the world, & IAF, one of the most feared air forces on earth

Hey man! Amazing video! But if this is true then our MRCA deal of buying F-16s, Gripen, Rafael or Typhoon is not really great. We should rather put money on developing more Tejas (variant to be inducted just came out this June) or for developing PAK-FA.

A very good compilation..a few glitches though. In the MiG-29 section you have put a Su-30 (bottom view with canards) and two Rafale photos in th Mirage section (Rafale too has canards, Mirage dosen't). One serious thought here...none of the fighters are fully designed and developed by India. Our airforce is still at the mercy of foreign spares. LCA (Tejas) has US (GE ) engines.

IAF is in strict need of upgradation of soviet era aircrafts which would still not provide new gen airframes.

Ideally this would perfectly block IAF capabilities

SU30 MKI - Heavy multirole

Mig 29SMT/MMRCA contender - Medium Strike/escort (multirole capability with MMRCA)

Mirage 2000/Jaguars/Mig 27 - Heavy bombers/ground attack

Tejas - light Multirole

Mig21-Interceptor

Tejas certainly has cleared IOC but air force is not very happy with the performance of the engine. Thats the only reason we are going for tejas fitted with GE F414 turbofan engines, as indigenously developed kaveri engine failed to produce >1 thrust/weight ratio at high angles of attack making it vulnerable to enemy attack.

As of now India would go with certain numbers of tejas until kaveri is cleared by IAF. French companies have been invited to work on kaveri
