@AnimeFan41D Anime and Cartoon are both based on animation, however Anime is usually based on more grown up themes such as discrimination, poverty, blood, adult/nude etc. While in Cartoon the theme is based on what you should and what you should not do. In other words it's made for children while Anime differs from children to grown ups.
