  • This is how he actualy did it. Not the bullshit explanation he gave on his show.

    TAM7 + Brown Lotto Debunk (Part 5 of 5)

  • the lottery is a fraud, darren brown is crap and is just making himself rich, what did this program tell u, nothing, u fools are just making them more cash, everyone knows camalot is only interested in giving your money to good causes, while keeping as much for themselves, the whole lottery shebang, yes shebang, should and will eventually be investigated, they are stealing the nations money , and some of us will expose them, postcode lottery,

  • Not as good as the stuff in the Mindreading Exposed ebook

  • ..This whole show was not produced to show people how to win the Lottery, it was a tiny part of Derren's grand plot to try and control the thinking pattern of the Nation through a serious of experiments hence the title ''The Events'' and he was extremely successful. But to be honest he couldn't have picked an easier audience...Brain-dead Britain and their daily diet of X-Factor & Eastenders, they are all just sitting ducks anyway.

  • hey where can i see the full video to this anyone knows??

  • fake n gay.

  • That right arm looks awfully long to me!!:D If u watch it enough times u notice that its out of proportion with the rest of his body!!

Haha cum on if derren could juggle like that he`d incorporate it into his live acts!! AND he`d go on about it for ages in his books as he does with his minor obsessions such as clippin his fingernails! Juggling DEFINITELY would hav been mentiond...Sorry but its split screen again...:(

  • Clues in this advert for the live show:

He uses 4 computer generated balls in this advert as he is telling you how he will predict it using *MISDIRECTION*

he says '4 HIGHLY COMPLEX EVENTS OF MISDIRECTION' he is saying he will be misdirecting you to himself in the live event

(AWAY from the balls as will be split screen)

also he is telling you that there is a misdirection in the advert as he is using the FOUR computer generated balls.

Everything he did live was misdirection

  • WHERE THE FUCK CAN I WATCH THIS AGAIN?

  • Alan Deddicoat!!!! You Are Unnecessary To The National Lottery Programme!!!! And Just Because You Are Not Seen Does Not Make You Untouchable!!!! You Speak Malevolently In A Way That Is Not Understood By Most!!!!

  • my theory is that all of u could have won, the numbers are on the balls hes juggling this advert is b4 the vent so he has another theory he cant tell u

  • My bro is a juggler, and he is practicing that, so I'm pretty it's doable with a lot of practice, derren is an amazing magician, pretty sure he has to skills to do it.

  • Comment removed

  • Personally I do not think that juggling is fake. If he is a magician then he's going to know how to juggle. Idiots.

  • @morgyvids I'm a juggler and that trick is a very difficult one. And an equally valid point: "He is an illusionist, of course he didn't actually do that difficult trick"

Also a more subtle point, the predicting the lottery trick was done - probably - through a split-screen camera trick (I'm not sure what it's called but I watched a convincing youtube video explaining it), which is exactly the same technique that would have been used to fake this juggling trick.

  • @georgepowell I know about the split screen theory for the predicting the lottery trick, and although it's a good theory I'm not entirely convinced by it. But Derren is a magician, so he is going to know pretty much every trick in the book and for him juggling will be an extremely simple one, so he has no need to fake this. He also says that he is honest about his dishonesty, so if he used spilt screen for the lottery trick he would have owned up to it by now.

  • i knoooow the whole split screen thoery has been discredited but has no one realised that this vid is split screen? massive hint me thinks!

  • .... the shadow of the balls -.-

  • Este loco es un capo!. Lobooooooo!

  • you can really tell who the stupid people are here , this is obviously going to make pretty much anyone who watches this curious as to how he does it, the people with a higher IQ will be more prone to accepting how he does it as he uses tricks such as Magic , suggestion , Psychology, misdirection and showmanship as he says before he goes on tv each time , the more stupid people will just think that this is impossible with no research and ignore the truth behind what he does in this

  • @ShopSongs exact opposite

  • i feel sorry for everyone who believes in this guy.

  • @pojaidsf he never EVER claims to be psycic. he described it as MISDIRECTION...i.e. focusing your attention on something else and it was entertaining enough. dont like him? dont watch him! stick to spongebob

  • those balls he is juggling are CGI

  • predict the lottery.........BULLSHIT!!!!

  • is it me or what ? why bother uploading 20 second videos

  • This would be resume of the century.

  • It looks like he can almost not hold his laugh. That is because of how silly this (the trick of juggling one-handed two pairs of balls while talking) must have been.

I'd doubt he used camera/editing tricks. It doesn't suit his style, he's better than that (that's something more likely to be a Criss Angel's cheap trick). It looks like it's not his own arm juggling but instead I'd say there is someone behind him with their arm through his suit juggling the balls. His shoulders don't even move!

  • just imagine HOW DIFFICULT IT MUST BE to juggle the balls firstly not in front of you, but on your side, secondly WHILE TALKING ! ! !

  • But on the other hand it looks weird and impossible. It's unnatural that the rest of his body doesn't move adequately to his arm's momentum.

But still another thing is that he's blinking a lot which looks like he's really trying to focus on two complex and unrelated tasks which is juggling and talking at the same time.

  • It's fake, the man's a spas.

  • its an illusion. That is not his hand.

  • Comment removed

  • Ok, so why make a TV show instead of just cashing in quietly whilst doing his usual TV stuff??

Most of the planet would choose rather to pocket the money rather than appear cool on TV?

  • I doubt you could do his job XD.

first you have to come up with the trickery and explanaition, then pull it off.

Its like with card tricks, they are hard to do. It doesent just happen, you have to perform all the lifts and shuffles.

As for the advert it most likely is fake, however its not impossible to juggle like that. And its not all visual effects.

  • It's pretty obvious its all visual effects

  • It isnt all visual effects. Visual effects alone wouldnt be enough to predict the lottery live. Hence there being no delay time when flicking between channels.

  • Did he give any kind of explanation himself? Can't find it on YouTube ..

  • everyones such a buzzkill!

who cares how he did it?

life would be so boring without a bit of mystery in it.

  • @123rexc lol agreed... but i think life is already a lot mysterious than you think. you are living in a dream world baby. open your eyes while you still can.

  • Half the people who think its illogical also assume one way he did it was with a hidden laser lol.

Course hidden lasers and sneaking fake lottery balls into the machine to "fix" the lotterey is much more logical then prediction and science.

I do beleive its partly a trick. But its so cleverly pulled off.

  • Just give up. The fact that he can even pull off the illusion of winning means none of you will catch him out. Every single factor has been thought out so even experts cant explain how he did it. Its entertaining, hard to explain, and amazing.

    Here-

He didnt predict after. They were there the whole time and you cant say the lottery numbers on t.v before them.

Its impossible to fake live national lottery. And illegal.

So whatever explanaition it was no one here is right.

  • well how comes out of the hundreds of people whos worked for him no 1 has come forward n told the media or any 1 about it?

  • He didn't delay the feed at all because if he did he'd have a huge fine and be done in by the BBC. Also, even if he did delay the feed it wouldn't matter because he already had the numbers written down. So if his numbers were wrong he didn't have the time to go over the board and change them. Plus if you put the lottery on in another room you could see that his TV was in exactly the same part of the lottery as the BBC.

  • that is the only trick that was fake, all the others were done by logic

  • The balls in his hand are fake :o like his lottery trick lol

  • lol all these 'events' are purely playing on people's wonder of the unknown and what could happen. All of it is fake and just results in derren getting huge viewing numbers and a big fat paycheque for doing so. And how did it take him over a year to devise a plan on faking lottery number predictions and making a video to 'glue' us to our seats, fucking hell.

  • Predicting lottery numbers after the draw, wooaaaahhh!

I've got sky plus too Derren, KNOB.

  • HE ISNT PSYCHIC AND DOESNT CLAIM TO BE.

For gods sake you idiots, he works with CONTROL OF THE MIND, of course he didnt predict the fucking lottery.

  • omg are so many people that retarded , derren is a magician of a kind he specialises in illusions he is great at what he does ,i cant believe some of the comments on here saying hes fake or isnt impressive

  • I have to agree, obviously he is a fake. People hardly think he goes on stage and makes things hapen out of thin air. He plans them down to the milisecond, with military precision. He is a genius

  • Look closely at the video at 0:09

It clicks and changes a slight bit not visible to the human eye.

    That wasn't his hand.

  • omg, why is every1 havin a go at derron brown, even if he did 'hoax' it, its still bloody good tele.

  • well said!

  • I am annoyed at him for giving his false explanation of how he did it. It fuels irrationality and superstition.

  • @georgepowell He is an illusionist, he isn't gonna reveal the true method.

  • @georgepowell What was irrational or superstitious about it?

  • someone that predicts the numbers.

    after the numbers.

    isnt really impressive

  • well if it was live and the balls were there in that precise order before the numbers were announced isnt that a tad different?

  • live or not live

    if he showed the numbers

before they were annonced then i would be impressed.

  • He couldn't show the numebrs before or everyone would buy those numebrs! Can people not see this?

  • lol it's a trick dude, you can't predict the lottery

  • but he couldnt even show people just before the reveal. when its to late to buy a ticket.

for a fake trick its crap.

i got more excited when a clown made a coin come out behind my ear.

  • This uses the same split screen technology that the actual prediction did. That is just more evidence of how he did it.

  • Yeah i thought that, his hand seemed to be perfectly accurate with the balls all the time, yet he wasnt looking at them whilst he was juggling.

  • Thats because the balls are obviously CGI

  • He juggling 4 lottery balls. Judging by the colors its 4 of the 6 chosen balls.

  • I think he said it himself..."Misdirection"...What a hoax...No Euro Ticket, No good.

  • one word derren, shirtlifter!

  • yep

  • no no no no.

this guy is much more educated and has alot more class than Kanye

  • he says it himself..IVE BEEN WORKIN ON 4 HIGHLY COMPLEX EVENTS OF MIS DIRECTION lol.. whilst his juggling is misdirecting too as its fake.. AND HE'S MISDIRECTED EVERY1 INTO BELIEVING HIS EXPLANATION lollll..what a man

  • I reckon that's what camera 2 was for, at the end of the events he'll do the big reveal and show the actual secrets

  • Thats the combination to my luggage

  • I think this video is a clue as to how he does the lottery trick...ah I see dayday8421 already posted that. He has not topped the best camera trick I have seen which was a live demo of the Sony minicam with night vision that could supposedly see through clothing.

  • 07785457749

  • the next numbers or 8 16 34 23 45 7

  • First of all guys, the balls in this ad aren't fake. It's Derren's whole right side (your left) that is fake watch the bottom of his jacket on that side. The jacket flares out to the side now and again as the balls are being juggled yet the middle of the jacket where the buttons are doesn't move. It's a clever video sync which is a hint to those who have worked it out of how the lottery stunt will be/was done.

  • I.e/ the right side of him is a very good juggler and it has been very subtely blended with derren to look real. secondly. In case you all missed it, he's not a bloody heretic lol. He's an illusionit... and as much as you all hate to admit it, a DAMN good one!

  • Everyone give me your lottery numbers and i will put them on on weds night.

  • search youtube for 'Derren brown lottery camera shake revealed'

  • this ad is a clue he will use a split screen on the left hand side for the lottery ball trick. as was the snow flake in his other ad. this will be revealed later in his events shows.

  • Also, every one talks about the ball on the end moves, well when i watched it the whole bloody wall in the back ground on the left kept moving, which is more noticable!!! lol

  • either way, he says at the begining of this clip that he has been prepairing a misdirection event ( a trick of the mind) then he claims that he predicted the lottery?? He is just contradicting himself. I think what he does is cool, but this stunt sucked!!

  • Seriously some people on here are idiots, myself included.

    The balls, are fake.

It's an advert. Anyone giving a shit about a clearly fake advert that he isn't claiming is real, needs to stop being stupid and think about the lottery!

As for the lottery, the whole point of Derren Brown's genious is that you will never be able to know how he did it. That's the point. You will keep guessing but you will never be sure when you hit the answer unless he specifically tells you.

  • One thing is for sure, and that is sooner or later the answer to this trick will come out. Another thing, that is for sure, is it will be quite simple in it's complexity; no ... there is no contradiction in terms within the realms of trickery because the most amazing stunts are quite often simply explained; think David Copperfield here, for instance.

This is a trick ... no doubt about that, as was his lack-lustre 'prediction'.

    ~F~

  • deep mathes load of shit

  • i can juggle like that. It wouldn't be unreasonable to say that derren brown can juggle, he is of corse a master of sleight of hand, and juggling can help towards that. Most magician type performers can juggle. And it would only take him a week or so to learn this trick if he could already juggle. However seeing as it's just an advert, it was probably CGI balls. why the hell would he use a split camera trick.........

  • ........... Also when you do this trick the balls need to go higher otherwise they collide, they normally would also seperate in the air more. But i think split screen is ridiculous.

  • I agree, you can't tell that the ball is actually higher until the camera man zooms in, so it was probably like that all along

  • yes you can

  • never mind magicians, I was tought it as a test of the advanced dexterity in my right hand, its easy, reletivly speaking

  • yeah and people seem to think this is not humanly possible.

  • I know its a trick , but i would be anoyed if he used CGI or some kind of camera trick to do it.

  • That's really stupid, because by doing that they're admitting they have the technology and ability to fake the actual lottery results thing, which is how most people think he did it. Own goal!

  • Here is proof it was a split screen with another jugglers arm recorded and 2 cgi balls put in: bit[dot]ly/1Qm10F

  • why would they need some one else's arm with CGI balls?

  • ripegllrm - my theory is that DB cannot juggle, hence need a person who can. and to make it look better than just juggling 2 balls.

  • Why does anyone care.

It's a fucking advert. The balls are clearly fucking fake.

He's not claiming they are, is he.

  • 4 "events of MISDIRECTION", he just told every1 that he is deceiving you.and some people STILL think he predicted that lottery

  • derren brown is talking and there is no split screen in this video, he is moving his hand as if he is juggling but the cgi balls are edited in

  • Comment removed

  • Derren did what he said he was going to.. he explained it..

  • Comment removed

  • how do you knwo it was bogus.. have you repeated the experiment? haha..

  • those balls are tied together in pairs.

  • This video also has a split screen trick

  • Agreed, it's split from his shoulder onwards, that is, in fact not his arm. The still camera suggests this.

    Clever trick.

  • Derren isn't juggling the balls btw if some of you thought it was genuinely him.

  • Comment removed

  • I havent thought about that! and here I thought I was being clever... you sir, made me very sad...

  • Comment removed

  • Part 1:

This is how he does it! It's simply a split-camera technique. So just a camera trick in the end!

If you look closely on a big screen you will see that the six white balls throughout the first part of the broadcast are all in an even line and ironically there is a line of black bricks on the wall behind which acts like a ruler.

  • Part 2:

Now after the last ball has been dropped if you look very carefully you can see that the ball on the left end has become slightly raised against the others and against the black bricks on the wall behind.

When Derren Brown turns the tray around you can clearly see that the ball on the end (now the right end) which is number 39 is slightly higher than the others as it has not been placed in the tray properly.

  • Part 3:

Therefore the balls at the end of the broadcast are NOT the same set as the ones at the start.

So split-camera effect (with artificial camera-shake) and a magician's assistant (with NO studio audience present) are the solution.

The arrival at the prediction is therefore irrelevant as the balls have simply been swapped during the live show.

  • Part 4:

The apparent semi-success of the 24 members of the group predicting previous lotteries is another independent scam to give some sort of false explanation for the prediction.

So TWO scams together and the whole thing nothing more than a conjuring trick to mislead and misdirect people - and play on their greed and gullibility!

See notorious internet Animator Cyriak on the Charlotte Gore website to see how he did it. In fact, he demonstrated it working!

  • it would also explain why the 39 was at a differnt angle to the rest of the balls

  • finally worked out how the 39 being rased is involed with my laser printer theory,

if all balls we print on heat inking paper the laser heat would increase the pressure/voulume of air inside the balls there for the prefect fit would no longer be perfect making one pop upwards,on watching in slow motion it moves up,not a sudden jump from bottom to top,he may have stumbled across this and though it would be great to make people think its a camera trick or maybe placed a bit of lube to ensure.

  • So his 24 people system officially doesn't work as tested independently.

Proof see - You Tube video OQmTyNvQWDE

  • LIES

  • Oh calm down.

  • Real Prediction for tonights Lottery using Derrens System

    You Tube video OQmTyNvQWDE

  • wake up peeps, if its as simple as working an average there would be millions of winners with the correct full set of numbers each week, total split film, there was no prediction. if he wanted random numbers from a subconcious why not just use a pc to generate numbers, a pc wouldnt be worried about winning and has no consious, just fake as is all of his stunts, pre-diction means to proove before the event, he prooved no numbers to us before the draw so he is fake, itc should investigate

  • i agree he's an illusionist not a psychic.

  • it doesnt matter how he does it, it's what he does that people need to rely on!

at the end of the day, no matter how clever derren brown is, there's no denying that he is only an illusionist.

he only shows you what he wants to show you, and that doesn't always have to involve misdirection.

i have never concluded my own answers to derren's trick on basic and sleazy camera effects and techniques.

i genuinely believe this man is a cut above the rest and i look forward to see how his 'Events' work.

  • no dude he didnt read out the numbers 2 the 24 people kuz they will all go and win woudnt they, my grandad trys doing what darren dose kind of and av seen the books he has, he rights all the lorttory numbers and try working the avreage number out i promis u evrey time he puts the lotry on he wins 10 evrey time

  • wrong, libyanaky - tickets are not available after 7.30 pm. there's no reason he couldn't have told them the numbers. fact: he didn't have the numbers.

  • wow deep mathes

he a fake he dosent know what he is doing!

  • people.. he didn't do either one of the three options he presented. he did it another way... with a split screen during the live feed - it's not that complex, and you don't need a large budget for that, JoshyouwaMany. What is your theory, Josh, do you believe the rubbish that he presented in the Friday night show??

  • "highly complex events of misdirection", that 'wisdom of the crowd' thing was not highly complex nor was it a misdirection, or was it?

what the feck are you up to derren?

    u bloody mind terrorist.

  • and by the way... the camera trickery in this very commercial is likely to be the same as he used in the live lottery prediction itself

  • nah, it's just cgi here.

  • his explanation was full of shit last night. i am so, so, so disappointed. he shouldn't say that he's gonna say how his trick was done if he's just gonna bullshit us. i'm normally a big fan of derren, but he's gone right down in my estimation... he is insulting our intelligence with this sham

  • Derren Brown would not let chance dictate his most ambitious stunt to date. He only had two previous meetings with that group, and why didn't he show them the balls once they calculated the averages - it was 8.30pm, and was broadcast at 10.35pm, surely he had enough time to read out 6 numbers? It's because they weren't the true numbers! He used a camera illusion, because that's the only other way to do it without fixing the machine. That also explains why there was no studio audience.

  • he is juggling the lotto balls

  • still think they were printed on via laser printer on heat inking paper, itleast that way its logical (how do u produce a image without physical contact) and mathmatical (correct angles for laser to resize and travel further distance that a normal till printer

  • did he use the heavier balls or that thing with the 24 people. lol it was well confusing

  • 24 people thing

  • no, he didnt use the heavier balls because there was 3 options. 1. fake a ticket, 2. genuinley predict it. and 3. fix the machine, since he said he didnt do anything illeagal, he had to do nmber 2. so he just explained how he would do number 3.

  • If he's psychic, then why didn't he just enter those numbers into the lottery, instead of dicking around on TV. He must know everyone thinks he's a wanker, what with being psychic.

  • lol are u thick, he claims to have no psychic ability and that he uses mind tricks, misdirectiong and other stuff i dont understand, plus he agrees not to buy a ticket proving that he isnt a complete wanker

  • he agrees that psychic's don't exist you ignorant prat. His tricks are to show that psychics don't exist, because he can do exactly what 'psychics' can do, but much better, yet claims to have to psychic ability whatsoever.

  • His explanation was that the subconscious collectiveness of a group of people somehow had an ability to predict an event but only if they weren't concerned about the money and had bonded sufficiently. To take a quote from Derren's book, "extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence" and I don't think he provided any real evidence. I think he's simply testing the viewer to see whether or not they'll be suckered in to believing something so ludicrous so easily.

  • Must be split screens with the left one ,or half briefly fozen whilst someone places the correct balls on the stand.

  • wtached it yesterday night

    :D

    derren brown is amazing

  • Did you watch how he did it too, i missed both, was it any good?

  • it is clear that those balls are tied together.

  • its clear how fucking stupid u r there are no balls in his hands there cgi fuck just enjoy the dam thing

  • Derren Brown's trick was absolute rubbish. I can't believe he thinks anyone at all would believe such rubbish. And his reveal show was just sad. The funny thing is, people do believe this rubbish, that's why people like him have jobs, psychics too. They prey on weak minded people, people willing to believe anything. Anyone with half a brain would question him more, and not give in to his persuasion, so he doesn't pick them, he picks sad acts, the jobless and basic morons.

  • I think it really is upseting to see how society has become so completley self-obsessed.. so totaly up-itself that people can not simply sit back, and enjoy a simple magic trick for what it is.

Its just entertainment for God sake.

  • ha ha weighted balls.

  • just mark his/her 1000 comments in here as spam -

  • He could show predicted numbers in the same way I could tell people my predicted numbers. It's still a 1 in 14 million chance.

  • Derren Brown is a genius. He performs a simple trick and has the nation talking about it for days - Genius.

The clue is in the C4 trailers leading up to it. Juggling four balls in one hand...

  • woohooo derren brown RULES

ALL YOU JEALOUS MOTHER FUCKERS CAN GO SUCK COCK KA DOODLE DOOS

    xP

  • It's not about the camera trickery or whatever he used to make people believe he predicted the results. This is an exercise in how gullible people can be.

In the same way people buy into cults or weapons of mass destruction.

I like Derren Brown btw, his stuff is interesting.

  • has no one noticed this???? what is he juggling??? the weighted lottery balls he revealed on friday show!! does this have any importance...

  • No way. I can't see the numbers, but the four colours come out. I guess it's likely that they would, but... HD anyone?

  • This is split screen magic. This is his biggest clue to the actual lotto show trick! sussed.

  • This.

  • your really funny. I think im in luuuuuurrrrrrvvvvveeee. Or is it lust? Or do I just wanna make you walk funny? i dunno.

Derren Brown sucks cock for a living. When he eventally gets aids from beefing guys up the shitepipe - will he put on a show on how he cured it? x x x

  • They all want his rod in there bums!

If he could predict the fuckin lotto, why has he not did it every week since it began?

Think about that one all you fuckwads who got roped into this poofs 'magic'

  • ind him boring.....

he is up his own arse..
