If you haven't already, you should check out Kickstarter as a venue for getting money together for an album.

Nataly Dawn's project did very well and you might be able to take some cues from her.

I'm betting you have to be 18 to start a Kickstarter project, but you could use the time until your birthday to get a really kick-ass project together.
