  • This is a noob question, but does the watt matter on the productivity of the PSU???

  • umm i cant find out how many watts my PSU has, ive opened up my computer and looked at it but it doesent say, can any one help please?

  • or you cant wire two 500 watt psu's for 1/4 of the cost of ocz's crap, not worth it. LOL they're all the same size if they're meant to fit in a atx case. and so far I see alienware is the only ones using them :-\

  • he has wtf moment at 6:55

  • i need a cheap power supply for my computer but i cant find one, if anyone has any ideas can you please help me?

i have an AMD phenom x4

    640 gb hard drive

and i am buying an ATI radeon hd 5770 upgrading from my ATI radeon hd 3450, at the moment i only have a 300watt PSU and im thinking i need around 500 watts? i really have no clue, thanks

  • the end is so funny

  • its so damn loud :-|

  • 4:02 damn that fan noise sounds like my cpu fan at 100%

  • its extremely cheap, got mine for $80 and im not regretting it one bit. not that loud. this thing can also handle 3 way SLI.

  • @artymowycz $80? holy shit... my 1000 watt psu is powering a hyrogen generator.. its 2 $10 wired together lol..

3 way sli? you got 3 video cards in your computer?

  • @Me102288 yeah, 3 gtx 260.

  • @artymowycz notta clue dude, sounds like a waste of money

  • @Me102288 well you probably don't game professionally then.

  • @artymowycz LOL Professional gaming.. I smell another jobless welfare recipient. and how you suppose your going to pay for all of this, and a house/aptartment and food, and clothes.. yes in my off time I get out and play paintball. A nationally recognized sport. not sit on a computer 24/7 playing WOW, actually, name one game that pays you to play (enough to support yourself, figure about $1000 a month minimum)

  • @Me102288 i don't play professionally anymore. I was a high ranked 3's player in wow, i got to play in a tournament and made 5 000 which was cool and i played cal-i CS:s which made me about 20,000 over 2 years. i would say i had a pretty good run considering i was only 16-17 at the time. Now im getting ready to play minor pro hockey, develope some skill and move to europe to play pro in germany.

  • @artymowycz where did you compete in tournaments in counterstrike? I was invited once but was making $2000 bi weekly as a welder/fitter, so it wasnt worth it. I remember playing that game 6 or 7 years ago when it was still on WON not Steam.

  • @Me102288 in toronto and once in NYC

  • its loud and its not modular so i think it cant be a kick ass product

  • Remember rodney's rating system. Good = crap, Kickass = good and 100% Kickass = truly kickass.

  • Anyone know a psu with 6x 6-pin pci-e conncetors, preferrably modular?

  • None, you can buy one with 4 x 6-pin and use the 2 extra 4-pin MOLEX to 6-pin that usually come with the graphic cards

  • Look at the Corsair HX series.

  • no they don't. there is only one 8-pin connector but it does have 4 6-pin connectors. one thing that he doesn't mention that i think he tried to imply was the noise level. it does run really stable with 8800 gtx SLI. i would have chosen something different if i hadn't purchased it for $80.00. so unless you can find this for under $130.00 i suggest u buy a different PSU.

  • do the 6 pin PCIe connectors have a 2 extra pin to make them 8pin?

  • Never in my life will I buy a PSU without a power switch...

  • que mierda habra dicho este concha de su madre

  • I am using a 650W for my 8800GTS 640MB.

  • i need 1000 watts especially with 2 8800 gts and liquid cooling = power hungry

  • heh u cant calculate anything dyde

  • being that packed inside that they can't even fit a switch, doesn't that reduce airflow to near to none?

  • wow nice video thanks for the review this reassures me as i have just orderd one of these for my dual 8800GTX rig :)

  • who needs a 1000 watts?

  • OCZ is the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Ummm i have no problem with out of sync audio and video on 3dgameman´s videos.

  • Go the fuck away you idiot. IT. ISN'T. HIS. FAULT.

  • I will try to upload a .mov format video next time. Although I have no issues uploading to Google Video.

  • loud!

  • Great review, one of the better blooper sections in the end =)

  • I always knew an OCZ power supply would be a champion. How can it fail when their ram is so great?

  • WOW grate review good job 5/5

  • wow i need that

  • wow awsome u can offer 1000W but not even modular support wait to go OCZ!!!!

  • @dchains ever better is I cant find any system that requires that much power.. I'm an A+ certified pc tech. Of course, you can add all kinds of stuff you don't need to bring it up to that .. :-/ waste of money, 500w psu's are the most common because its more then enough to run the average pc

  • GREAT REVIEW!!!! ROFL funny ending though

  • great review!!

  • Great review as always! :)
