oh and suzakuchan it is very easy to break pine its all on how you hit it i went to a tourny yesterday i shit you not and i broke a PINE board with a roundhouse kick on my first try and i am 13
That break is'nt easy at all, I'm that girl and it took me about 3 months to get it down. I almost broke 2 knuckles in the process' so go ahead think it's easy but if you hit that wrong it HURTS.
if you notice closely..that wasnt pine wood it was actually willow, its very easy to break the only reason its so light is because its been sanded with 500 grid sand paper usually pine has a dark shade on it....she might be a 1 degree black belt but i doubt a 12 year old girl can break pine wood.

dude its probably pine wood, which is really brittle in the first place, its obviously not very dense and its probably a product that is built for something like that. you can't just take any old piece of wood and do it.
I learned a long time ago never to break with a closed fist again. Even with wood. Funny but I can go through boards, bricks and patio slabs with palm heels, knife hands but not with a closed fist. It just swells up.
*shakes fist* If only I could do that. But my upper body is something I need to work on, I have puny biceps. I'm grading for my 1st degree in February I think, and apparently I have to break 2 tiles with either palm heel strike, a punch or a downward elbow strike. So I'm freaking lol. Good on you though, awesome work!

Thanks Krypekeeper , and i wish the girl good luck on her 2nd degree black belt studies.lam from Australia and their is a girl near my country town thats just been rewarded her 3 rd degree and she is only 17. i think that is a remarkable achievement. Maybe this girl can top that when she's 16. Good luck

Nice break, very impresive. But i am wondering how hard that board is,( can somebody , tell me about them) she made it look easy. That girl looks very young, maybe about 15 or younger. If that board was my face, id say that would hurt and i would be minus a few teeth. Nice work , i like the way she held it in left hand and smashed it with her right. The only board breaking ive seen girls do is with both ends of board held by a fellow student.

break the bottom of a beer bottle filled with water! that's a pretty easy trick that almost anyone can do it! and it's kinda like a speed break.

nice break, try holding it straight out its alittle harder.. and Greg0058 a 1"x12"x12" pine board takes about 20lbs of force to break same as a rib.
