The other nations you mentioned are quite a bit smaller than the US and have long standing traditions of government intervention. The US is extremely over-extended.

Caucasian Americans have been demonized to the point that even defending ourselves is now used to label us as racists. It's become quite bad in the states. We can't afford it. It requires taking property from citizens unwillingly to fund. It supports foreigners, so it is another incentive to come into the country illegal.
