@tyrahnon If you know how they work, you can calculate when you'll go into Overlimit, then use cooking to make it so you Overlimit at the start of the next fight. Foods the character likes raises points towards Overlimit. Foods they dislike lower it.

Your character will start flashing when they're close to Overlimit in a fight. People just cook the right meal when flashing, and BAM, Overlimit at the start of the next fight.

The faster combo may be due to the EX Skill Super Chain (I think that's it), which allows you to do a level 1, 2, and 3 Tech in any order. This would eliminate the lag in between the techs. As for the added flinch, he might have the EX Compound Skill Heavy Hit on.

I suspect being a really high level increases things like chance to flinch and maybe even flinch length. Maybe play a game on EXP x10 for a bit and try it again?

It would be weird for them to give Abyssion such powerful attacks and then make him way easier to combo in the PS2 version but I suppose it's a possibility.

If you mean after having 'Turnless' equipped then no, you need 'Super Blast' to do that. Here's the EX-SKILL combination for 'Super Blast'.

3 Turnless

+3 Eternal 

+3 Slasher

The upside to Kratos is that he doesn`t need `Super Blast` to perform techs after having `Turnless` equipped.

I suppose this depends on if you have the GCN or the PS2 version.

Uhh no Lightning Blade is a level 2 tech as well as Light Spear you can link level 2 to level 2. Super Lightning Blade was used because it's level 3 and Super Chain lets you link techs in different level order.

btw, Super Blast = Slasher, Super Chain, Eternal Ex Skills, and it is the Slasher Ex Skill that allows you combine them in any order. Super Blast lets you link special attacks (B attacks) after the sixth normal attack (A attacks) that Super Chain gives you.

For most likely the millionth time said on youtube, sadly, it's PS2 exclusive. You can still do this against him in the American GCN version, since you don't really need Shining Bind for anything. He used it here to interrupt Abyssion's Divine Judgment.

Lloyd and Kratos have samurai outfits, Colette has Lloyd's initial clothes without all the suspenders and belts(lol, you should see the scene, Lloyd comes out in his hot springs towel), Zelos/Sheena biker clothes, Genis/Presea winter outfits, Regal/Raine President/Bunny Girl.

Though for Kratos, Shining Bind is much easier to use.

Plus, he doesn't face the screen, and he pulls out the Flamberge. Zelos has to be a in Low Life and Overlimit. That's why I prefer Divine Judgment.

and if you play on Mania in the PS2 version, Kratos, Zelos, Mithos, and Abyssion all can use Shining Bind on you. Abyssion can use Divine Judgment, I. Judgment, Falcon's Crest, Time Stop, and annoying things. Zelos can also use Divine Judgment, and Mithos also use I. Judgment. Which is bad, because right now, I'm playing a Mania Playthrough in the PS2 version(Dun have a GC)
