  • IM living in Japan for this whole year because of my dads job it so fun here!!

  • 1:52 HAHAHAHAH funny!

  • 0:30 Oh I see what you did there

  • @kotonarii i am the same way haha iv been learning the language bymyself and learned so much of their culture im latino but going to japan is my dream

  • Uh, trust me... life in Japan is bad enough if you're Japanese, and it's HELL if you're a foreigner. They're nice to you for about the first month, they treat you like a rock star, everyone wants to talk to you etc... But then the charm wears off. They see you as an English-speaking machine, that's all they're interested in, but they will never, ever accept you as part of their society. Soon you'll realize that everyone- students and adults, are like prisoners in that country. GOOD LUCK!

  • @shamalama68 That only happens if your not human :P jk xD umm how much dose it cost to go :O

  • Gosh I wanna live there so bad... I'm Mexican, American and idk what else, but I look Japanese I'm in love with Japanese culture and everything having to do with Japan, I have the proper accent as well to speak Japanese, I've been practicing by myself, I want to move there for 3 or 4 years

  • freakin awesomE!! :)

  • I swear every Asian there is hansom and cute, including the girls o_o

  • One of my goals in life is to go to Japan but I've had my doubts recently, I've started thinking about how differently I may be treated or how they would view me since I would be a foriegner. Would they be "What's a foreigner doing here? He's different..." or "Wow, a foreigner. Interesting (in a curious positive way)." it's been eating at me for a while now...

  • @sonicman0123456789 There's tons of foreigners in Japan, especially in Tokyo. Most city-dwelling Japanese people are used to seeing foreigners walking around.

  • @1:27 it reminds me of the subway in new york city.....except this one is cleaner.....and doesn't have hobos and/or street performers on every corner

  • Man, my dream is that i could go live in Japan when i grow up -.-....

    Hopefully i will,

    Meanwhile i guess ill b. Stuck in houston,TX :P

  • @NemKins my school starts from 8:30am until 3pm. We have 6 periods and 10 minute breaks between each period. Then we have 40 minute break for lunch. After that I have club activities until 5:30pm ^^; but school in Japan is fun. Compared to my high school in America

  • Japan looks amazing!

I've ALWAYS wanted to go. Sadly, I barely know Japanese and my parents aren't willing to sign me up for classes. So i learn what I can on the Internet.

    How is the school there?

  • @NemKins Schools in japan are really cool. But most of them are very strict and sometimes make you clean during your free time to teach u how to take care of yourself.other than that ; IMO bette than American schools

  • @marcujerk901 At least they teach you something. :3

    How long are school hours?

  • @NemKins Like 8 to 3 pm

  • @marcujerk901 oh so its pretty much like american schools

    Aww man I wish I can go study there > ^<;;

  • the main problem is finding the right places

saving money and going there isn't even a problem, knowing good places to go is a key! bring a friend 2 or befriend 1

  • The last guy at the end looked pissed xDD

  • @JapaneeseBandlover

    Where there's a will there's a way.

If you put your mind to it I'm sure you can find some way.

Remember though, the awesome thing about traveling is the people you will meet and the things you will see. Japan is an amazing country, but don't get too caught up in only going there. If you can, try to go anywhere if you don't get the chance to go to Japan. It will be equally just a rewarding. Too many people have this romanticized ideal of Japan.

  • @johonaaei Whats not romantic about a bunch of people physically and mentally changed through radiation?

  • @JapaneeseBandlover get a scholarship to go to a language institution :3. Unless you're not interested in learning Japanese/ culture.

  • that is a legit fooseball table.!

  • You just lived my dream.

  • THAT...was one FLIPPING AWESOME foose ball table...

  • I love Japanese culture, I want to go to japan one day :)

  • woowww japanese guys r so cute

i really want to hav a japanese bf!!

    :)

  • I want to study abroad so bad, but it's so expensive T_T

  • 1:19 cute

  • hi, im currently a university student about to finish his fourth year, and wish to teach english in japan. I am born in Canada but the question that comes up often, is that I am of a Chinese ethnicity. Would there be any cultural clashes? and would it be hard to get hired by a company since they usually want to stick with the white westerner teacher so there would be no doubts to the ability of an asian english teacher?

  • @yoyoboygachi

Well, thats is a complicated question with a complicated answer. I will say straight forward that I do not know the whole answer to that question. Here is what I would assume: 1.The situation would be dependent on the company you choose to contract your services through. 2. There is some stigma towards having Asian English teachers, although there are certain programs or agencies will this will not be apparent.

  • Respond to this video... ... Also, Do you speak Japanese well? Is English your first language? Do you speak Chinese (if you speak the language) better than English? There are multiple variables to the way that your situation will be approached in that field of work.

  • @johonaaei i must say that i am certainly a more conservative person in terms of personality than most other canadians, however, my english skill level is equally if not better than most from the fact that i was born in Canada. I know minimal japanese, though i know enough to survive in japan...basic things such as asking where the toilets are, how to order food in a restaurant, those sorts of things... this would be a more detailed overview of me... which companies are recommended for me?

  • @yoyoboygachi

Well I am not too sure about the companies that hire specifically for Japanese language teaching, however, I know that there is one good program that you should consider-- especially if you are considering teaching to youth at the local schools. Its called the JET programme, and I'm not sure about the specifics, but basically you would teach ESL as an English professors assistant. I do not know how else to approach this issue, for example, if you were wanting to teach...

  • @yoyoboygachi contd... ...English to adults. My only real advice would be to research as many jobs as possible listed in the field, and also try to get some experience maybe in Canada, as that will definitely increase your chances of being hired. I am still, unfortunately, a university student, so my advice is purely based on others anecdotes and experiences.

  • Japan is by far one of the coolest places in the WORLD!!!!

  • Are there any Japanese suburbs that look more similar to American ones, by any chance? Maybe it's just me, but the houses in Japan and the way the 'suburbs' are arranged look quite depressing.

  • @whoo689 Not really. You see, on such a small island there isn't enough space to the point where they have the suburbs that we have here. Do you like the way American suburbs feel? They're not bad though, its just a different feel. I personally like the way the Japanese suburbs feel . And don't worry, there are plently of depressing things in Japan you will have to get used to. haha

  • This video has such a nostalgic aura to it, I know you must feel nostalgia after watching this video.

  • @Cloud3204 You have no idea! haha

  • @johonaaei okay, thanks for the reply dude :)

  • woah it's cool!! too bad i hardly know any japanese =____=

  • @RanterJaeUK Well the only way to get better is to go and converse with the Japanese, or better yet try to join a study abroad program :D Do it while you're still young. I was 16 when I left.

    Good luck

  • @johonaaei You mean by left, you left your parents and went there all by yourself? It's my dream to live in Japan one day, I'm 15 right now. My parents don't want to live there. I wan to but I don't want to rely on them. I want to go there as soon as possible.

  • @Viccyvictor i feel exactly the same as u!! i 15 as well.... i want to go there when im still in high school

  • @TheKevin182 Alright ;D. The only thing I don't know is how I'm supposed to get there while I'm still young. And if it is legit for a Dutch person like me to just go live there. But I really want to.

  • Indeed. His reaction is priceless.

  • haha, the guy's stick flinged out of his hand.
