Amazingly beautiful photo's. What a fantastic thing to be able to see with one's own eyes. I just loved every minute of viewing. (Whales and dolphins and all other innocent creatures make me ashamed of being human!) Have you ever seen a blue whale? If so, do you have any photo's? I remember years ago that Jacques Cousteau made a film about them, I have never forgotten it. I am a retired nurse, and years ago, I used to take my Walkman with whale songs, to play to distressed patients.
@normalil yes it is a priviledge to get out with the whales each whale season. No Blue Whales visit us in Hervey Bay but it is the best place in the world to see the Humpbacks which are among the most acrobatic and social whales. They come to the boats to look at us would you believe and are so gentle and aware of the boats we are never in any danger. It is mainly the Humpbacks that sing.
