Funny thing is Whale Meat sales have SKY ROCKETED since the "Whale Wars" tv show started. They get 60 minutes of free advertsing a week. Sales in the Orient are up 1400 percent in 3 years. They now export to the US, as well. That makes up half of the demand now... lol/

What gets me about these protests is the blind eye we turn. We kill millions of chickens a day - hundreds of thousands of cows and you dont batt an eye. Was the chicken or cow any less alive than the whale? does the whale hae some inherent right to life the cow didnt?

@mdmf007 Killing domesticated animals that are bred and raised SPECIFICALLY for harvest is distinctly different than harvesting wild animals that have the life span and reproductive cycles of human beings. These aren't tuna they're harvesting. These animals don't spawn by the hundreds every year.
