Let´s learn from it to keep our eyes open at the world and stay alert. Mass media seems to not always be the best source for obtaining profound information. ;)

The thing about German women not shaving has several reasons....first of all many US soldiers had casual sexual encounters or even relationships to German women directly after the war. The German women did not have many resources, Germany lay in ruins, if you lost your razor because your home was bombed flat, you could not just buy a new one, so many German women of that time didn´t have the opportunity to shave their armpits or legs that often...tbc.
People usually shave their pubics back then anyway, so the US soldiers got a false impression, considering ALL european women they had sex with during the war as many French, Dutch, Italian, Belgian women had the problem mentioned. Later in the 80ies, Nena had a no.1 hit in the US, a huge success with many US TV appearences and a big tour for Nena and her band. Yes, there is a rise in racism, anti-semitism and especially in anti-islamism in Germany, but still the racists are a small minority.
The same rise occurs in most other western societies as well, thanks to the "war on terror" policy of fear the US started after 9/11.
Believe me, there are MUCH more racists, hidden or straight, in the US, than in Germany.

I am of average height (176cm, the statistically average German men is only 2cm taller than me).
I don´t drink beer or other booze very often, less than 1litre of beer every one or two months.
