@MetalGearR3X they are generally all the same thing. "Maverick" means "rebelling robot" basically. its a robot that has been labled as a threat against peace. the Doppler bots are just that, a threat to peace, so they werent called "Mavericks", but thats what they were. "Reploid" is the general term for all robots, Maverick or not, that can think for themselves. "Reploid" is the term used to refer to a sentient robot. my personal favs were X4 and X6. MEGAMAN FTFW!!!

Ugen remixes are good but a fatal flaw is the quitar. It souds incredibly screeching and fake thus almost ruining most of the songs.

The remix is alright:

IMHO the beginning of some sections where it sounds 8(16?)-bit doesn't seem to do it justice. Also, they dance around a bit too much in the melody which makes it sound whimsical.

I'm looking for a remix (possibly make one of my own) that sticks with the fast paced theme of the original but incorporates a deeper tone than this and the original, and possibly more emphasis with guitars and possibly drums

well... i don't think you're gonna find one, mainly because the actual game theme is really close to this remix.

Oh this is great , im *so* subscribing to you. Ive been a fan of MM since NES...I think my favorite things about it are the music and the character design.

In 1999 i bought this MM cd that someone said was the music from the game ...but it wasnt ...it was just a bunch of crappy songs that had nothing to do with MM. in whatever style was popular mainstream rock at the time......thank god for internetz !!!! finding things like this ...progress at its best...

i love this stage theme. i dont think you did the lead synth very much justice though... i do like it but it takes away from the feeling of the original...
